Parking is totally impossible. The isles between cars is too narrow, they have a US mailbox in the middle of the lot, and their isn’t enough handicap parking. The turns are too numerous. They tried to save every tree that the old parking lot had while increasing the number of parking spaces. Cars end up blocking each other because people get tired of waiting and push out into the intersection before they should. The parking lot needs to be totally redone. Once you get inside they have a great rule. No pets except verified service animals. Great! I love animals but they do NOT belong in the stores. Leave them at home. Unfortunately the staff has chosen to not enforce the rule depending on who is working that day, they may enforce it or they may not. It is sort of like rules for some but not all people. If you aren’t going to enforce the rules then remove the rule.

I’ve only been to this Publix once but I had the best experience with the sub employee. I believe his name was Frank - he was Italian from NY and he made me and a friend the best Philly subs I’ve ever had from a Publix store. He was a very friendly employee. The store was clean and the cashier was super friendly. Definitely a nice large store.

I’m new to the area and it’s so great to have baggers at each lane. Employees are typically really nice and always helpful. The subs are great. Love the sliders in a pack- perfect for my teenaged boys to grab for a snack.
What pushed me to review is the bakery. I heard about the cakes but never had it until today. I ordered the Sunday Funday cake with sprinkles inside just 2 days ago for today. It is so well made and tasted like it was baked at home!

The florist department at the Island Walk Publix is awesome. George went in the back and looked for exactly what I wanted. He was pleasant and helpful. I will definitely be back for more flowers. Below are the arrangements I made with the gorgeous flowers. Thank you!

Every time I have come to Publix, I have a problem. The last visit before yesterday, I picked a couple of items from the clearance area, and 1 of them scanned the incorrect price. According to Publix policy, the item should be free, but the cashier said no, that these things happen. Yesterday, I went to buy Boars Head cheese at the deli, and like everyone else, I requested to be cut and packed in a specific way. Well, the guy did not show me a slice to make sure it net my standards, and when I finally saw the movement of his hands, I noticed he was not packing it the way I asked. I asked for: thin slice with paper in between 2 slices. He had cut it too thick and had stacks of 5 slices in a row. I told him it was too thick and he was packing it wrong. His answer to me was that the cut was a textbook, and that was the thin slice. Then he cut another slice the way I wanted it, and sarcastically said unless you wanted it paper thin. First of all, it was not paper thin, and that was the first thing he should've done, to show me and get my approval. So, in the end, I ended up with 1 pound of thick cheese (wrongly packed) and half thick half thin, half of it was 5 in a row and then 2 per side sheet. I do not appreciate having insinuated that I was wrong on what and how I wanted my order and just decided not to fix the way it was packed. I will never go back here to shop because apparently the employees are not there to help the customers.

I love Publix. I remember when the original Publix was in this location, it had a parking lot that slanted and car would roll away!

I still love it and it’s much nicer now that it was rebuilt. Deli and bakery are delicious.
Bagging properly seems to not be taught anymore, so I do my own bagging after having bread smashed a few times too many.

And whoever designed the parking lot , my dog could have done better. The whole island walk plaza is a maze. The 4 star is solely because of the parking lot design.
