This establishment's performance is disappointing. After receiving a document to assess my compatibility, a meeting was arranged, which they failed to attend. Despite waiting patiently for 25 minutes in the Zoom room, I called them and they couldn't locate the scheduled meeting. Eventually, after 35 minutes, they presented information about their company, primarily focusing on selling their services rather than addressing my request to do my taxes. Their starting price of $350 for tax(simple w2) preparation is exorbitant. It's evident that this company requires significant improvements to justify such high fees. My sympathies go out to their employees.

Kristy is a really good and fair CPA and charges very reasonably. We have used her for years to do a family member's taxes and are continuing to use her for other matters. She has also always been responsive and willing to help, even with very arcane issues.

OK....do you have an hour or so to spare so I can brag about Kristy? First, I must say she is an EXCELLENT CPA....you can't do any better....she is, in fact, the best...my "tax life" has been in her hands for almost 30 years....and she has NEVER let me down. She is the best. Second, she's an incredible person. She's a loving wife and mother....and a dear friend. She's honest, caring, and loyal to her clients...and friends. I can't say enough good things about her professionally and personally. I will always be grateful for her knowledge and her friendship.

The company I work for utilizes Cortez CPA to issue our checks. My very 1st check they mail
It was sent to a completely wrong address in Pflugerville (I live in Leander) since Ive been with this company over the past 5 months. Ive had 2 checks that "got lost in the mail" and another 3 checks sent 5 days past when they were allegedly mailed. I am like most people and live pay check to pay check. When over 50% of my checks are sent late or lost by the same company you really begin to question the company. I would have personally dropped them after the 2nd incident. According to other staff this has been an on going issue for over a year. Their accounting skills are good as long as you are not relying on them to be able to pay your bills on time or send checks out in a timely manor. Then I guess this is the company for you. Another fine example of this company. They "mail" our checks on Thursdays. Their office is 15 miles from my home. When I did not recieve my check the following Tuesday asked if I could just come in and get another check issued. It doesn't take 5 days to get a check 15 miles. They told me they would be glad to issue another check. All I have to do is bring in the check that was lost and they would write me another check! Seriously this company is a joke and has a complete disregard for professionalism!

If there was a rating below one star that's what I would give this group. It takes 2 months to get them to start doing anything, then every step takes them weeks instead of days and no one ever calls you back unless they are asking for money. There are a million excuses and no results, they are terrible to try to work with. 2 👎👎

Have been doing doing my taxes here for some time. I wouldn't go anywhere else. With the tax laws changing every year, I wouldn't want anyone else but the best.
