I had the pleasure of visiting Uniqulee in Chinatown last week, and as a tourist from Germany, I was absolutely charmed by this lovely vintage shop. The selection of unique products is truly special things we rarely come across in our everyday stores. The two young ladies who assisted me were incredibly polite and welcoming, making my experience even more memorable. They took such care in beautifully packing my purchase, which I greatly appreciated. When I visit New York again, I will definitely return to this wonderful shop. Thank you for such a delightful experience!

Beautiful little shop with a lovely selection of vintage items that have been carefully selected . Staff was very nice and will definitely be back again. . A lovely gem amongst all the overly aggressive tourist nyc shops down there in that area . This place was very refreshing and unique .

My daughter used to work in this place about 3 years ago, several people mentioned her by name in the comments with stellar reviews. She was very knowledgeable and would manage the store. However, whenever the owner would come by, she would always be extremely obnoxious and mistreat my daughter ,thinking she really needed the job and wouldn't leave. So she quit, went to college and became an education professional. The moral of this story is don't mistreat your valuable employees, they may not need you half as much as you think they do. After hearing how horrible she treats her employees AND customers I would never shop here and support her.

Really cute store but the people working in the shop were kind of rude. My cousin and I came here and they had a hand sanitizer policy which is totally fine. My cousin asked that since she is wearing gloves and she wasn’t going to take them off, would she need to sanitize? The person working in the shop responded “ well you don’t have to be here.” It was kind of an alarming response instead of just simply saying “ im sorry but this is store policy etc.” while we both did hand sanitize, we left the store immediately after because we were kind of shocked about the whole situation. It’s a shame because the store is super cute

I’m from a mixed Asian/White family and even though the woman working here was also Asian, we felt she was noticeably more hostile to the non-white members of our group. One of our relatives was slowly moving to sanitize his hands because a) he’s elderly and b) English is not his first language so he did not immediately understand/respond to the woman when directed to the hand sanitizer. Instead of clarifying the instruction or repeating it more slowly, she snapped, “It’s not optional” and when another member of our group said “yes, we’re going to use it”, she said, “I’m talking about HIM” and jerked her head towards our elderly relative. When you have a shop that is literally in the middle of Chinatown, you should be at least somewhat aware of the concept that not everyone is a native speaker. Our relative deserved to be treated with respect in his own neighborhood but she was so aggressive towards him that we left immediately after. I’m disappointed because I actually collect antique jewelry and would have loved to shop around, but I can’t support a business that treats our elders like that.

The owner or whom appeared to be the owner was passive agressive in a rude unwelcoming manner from the moment we walkee through the door. I didn't want to give her my business so I walked. She has a way of pushing out her customers whom she doesn't know could buy one item from her or the entire store from her.

I was visiting from out of town, and unfortunately, my experience was terrible. The staff had absolutely no product knowledge and seemed more interested in making a sale than providing accurate information. It’s disappointing to see a business willing to misinform customers for profit.

Thankfully, I knew what I was looking for, but the customer service was far below subpar. I would not recommend this place to anyone. If I could give zero stars, I would.

A rather confusing experience. One of the salespeople, a young Asian American woman, showed me items and claimed they were from the Victorian era, over 100 years old. It turned out to be completely untrue. I later found the exact item somewhere else , which is actually from the 1970s and priced at a third of what they were asking. Honestly, this kind of behavior borders on fraudulent.
