I was looking to get a simple tattoo in honor of my mother, and had an image and text I wanted included. I live in the neighborhood and was looking for a highly regarded tattoo artist that was close, and came upon Angela de Rosette at Public Tattoo. Angela was patient and considered my ideas, was realistic about sizing and took time to work with me to find the best font and design placement. Her studio and equipment were immaculate and I was overjoyed with the finished product. If you are in search of a seasoned tattoo artist who clearly cares about her craft - Angela will not disappoint! I'm including an image from immediately after and one after fully healing.

I went to Angela a few weeks ago for my very first tattoo ever. She was absolutely fantastic through the whole process. She understood my vision exactly and I felt confident that we'd get to a design that met my vision - and she did not disappoint! Her studio is cozy and you can tell she is a professional with tons of experience. I felt so comfortable the whole time. She's also just fun to talk through throughout the whole experience!! I’m amazed by the skill and artistry from the brilliant and kind Angela de Rosette at Public Tattoo. Walking into Public tattoo, the diffused lavender essential oil set the right tone. I was anxious to cover up the lame tattoo I got in the 90s. But during the tattoo, I was so relaxed I almost fell asleep! I never thought I would use the word “serene” to describe getting a tattoo, but that is the best word I can think of. It’s been a little over 2 weeks, and it has healed perfectly. The new tattoo is unbelievable, and the old tattoo is gone, completely covered! Angela’s attention to detail with the eyes, the delicate lines, and the perfect blending of the ink is awesome. Cannot recommend her more highly!

Angela is a talented professional. She’s done two tattoos thus far for me. She perfectly captured the design I wanted and did an even better job tattooing it on my forearm. Her own enthusiasm for her work made the experience great. She always follows up to make sure everything is healing well. I’ll be trusting her with more tattoos in the future, too.
