Loudest library ever.

They really need to add on bigger meeting rooms for groups. There are also large gatherings of children after school, they are not there to study and use it more for a hangout spot...

I really like the setup here, but more library like structure would be nice.

(Whose brilliant idea was it to REDUCE the size of the new library in an ever growing city?!)

Noisiest library I've ever been to, jfc. Pro tip: if you value peace & quiet, finish your business here before tweens from the nearby school swarm the place starting at about 3pm. I avoid coming here unless I have to. As I write this, I'm surrounded by the endless din.

Kids need a separate CLOSED OFF area to play, use computers, etc away from patrons to not disturb us. Even though kids' computers are available, I've seen kids playing games in the adult section & being noisy. For the love of the Almighty, please build this separate area!

McAllen main & Pharr are bigger & busier yet are actually quiet. Staff needs to remind parents this isn't a park.

Also, there should be an indoor toilet available for disabled and/or elderly patrons.

First time in this library, the ladies in the front are nice and helpful. What I liked was that they even have a play section with toys and even a kitchen for small kids. It suit perfect for my daughter while I was using the computer. To print is only .10 cents. I will definitely go back to this library!

Great Place for community and theater plays. I would strongly consider directing and acting a visual arts project in this fine theater.

The second floor is closed right now but the place is still very big you won't even notice. I like fountain in the entrance and the fish tank inside. The kids area is a great place to entertain the children in the summer. They have a section where you can have your child take a free book/magazine. Go visit and grab a bookmark 😁

Great selection of books and computers. It is a nice place to take the family. There's something for everyone. The family area is great for small children. It is quiet during the day, that is the best time to go.

Pleasant atmosphere. Good for taking my grandbabies to enjoy the learning toys and activities that are always available. I really enjoy spending some quality time here. Keep up the good work! Friendly staff.
