CC&K, what can I say? They are fantastic! I had several claims denied by the VA. I contacted CC&K, they reviewed my case to determine the best approach forward.
Keeping me informed each step of the way, they accomplished what I could not on my own. It took time, because dealing with the VA is never a speedy process. End result is 100% permanent and total dated back to 03/2022.
I highly recommend CC&K. They are a professional organization that work hard to get you what you deserve.

I was shocked that they did not take my wife’s case. There was some questions on a rating decision letter. What we sent was claimed to not be correct but it was all that was available to download. We were advised to call the va and have it sent. Called had it sent and forwarded it. Again apparently it was wrong but still passed it on to the attorneys. We were called today and they said they would not be taking her case. I am shocked no one asked any other questions. We got out on 2003 and have a very well documented MST case. We have the reports and all medical records of psychiatry and multiple other things that has happened with her medicines. I figured it’d would be an easy case with all the documents and reports we have. It has taken over 20 years for her to come out and talk about it after years of psychological suffering. This deflated her and doubt she will do anything else. One of the worst things about it is was the higher ranking NCO was never punished despite the physical documented evidence. Now no one is responsible. I hate that this happens all the time. Well maybe on 20 years she’ll be open again. I still think it’s over the rating decision letter. I’m no attorney but I feel like we should have just did it ourselves. I just knew it was one shot because she wouldn’t want to open up about it again and an attorney would probably be best.

I was referred to them by a long time family friend and a veteran that I served with. He had a great experience going from 70 to 100% ptd. I reached out with anticipation of a similar outcome. At 1st it was fast back and forth emails on what they need. After sending them everything they asked for i got an email stating a law team member would reach out. NO ONE CALLED. I had to pick up the phone and call in to see what's the update only to hear we can't offer our services to you but you can call the DAV here's the number. I understand that you get to pick and choose your cases but has a vet looking for help, I thought or should I use the word expected a better outcome or response. In example a detailed explanation of.why they didn't think the case was for them. So that I could at a minimum understand why. But it like a big slap on vets face to hear all these great things of how they can help only to be dismissed like there's no money here for us. At least that's what it felt like. If your thinking about this company don't waste your time.

ZERO ZERO ZERO THE WORST TO SERVE THE VETERAN. MONEY TALKS HERE. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME. I look forward to receiving my entire Claims file and or correspondence that supposedly was sent to a wrong address? Seems this is why I felt like your firm was incompetent all the while because your staff had my correct address for at least a year! Additionally had your staff initiated a ONE SIMPLE phone call to me, (WHICH THEY NEVER CALL) - they could have confirmed any address concerns!!!! But they didn't. Just like they never did in the past 15 months. I know I made the right decision by terminating our relationship and agreement. In summation you and your staff REALLY AND TRULY need to take a long hard look at your practices, honor and pledge to serving this nations Veterans. I think if it truly mattered, you might stop focusing on HOW MUCH MONEY IS TO BE MADE on whether you truly put your heart and soul into helping the veteran. Your firm is DEFINITELY NOT IN IT FOR HELPING VETERANS. Only Money talks.

If I could I would give CCK Law Firm 10 Stars. I started out 5 years ago with a state veterans rep to help me out with filing some claims from my service in Vietnam. I was given the wrong forms to fill out and after 4 months decided to go elsewhere for help. Someone recommended the American Legion, what a waste that was (only talking about my experience). With all the claims I was filing one of which was sleep apnea. I was told by that particular rep at the American LEGION that that would be an automatic loser. I told him that not filing it would be a guaranteed loser. I had 2 sleep studies done by one by Gaylord hospital in CT and the other by the VA hospital in West Haven CT. Both had the same result, severe sleep apnea and both issued me a CPAP machine. I finally convinced the rep to SAY he would file it but come to find out, it was a lie, he NEVER filed that claim.
Time to find someone to help. I watched many videos on the internet and said to myself maybe its time to get a veterans attorney involved with my pursuit of filing my claims. Rhode Island being right next door to CT, I said lets give this firm known as CCK a chance, "BEST DECISION I'VE MADE IN YEARS". I not only made it to 100% total disability, we never had to file for sleep apnea. They did this for me in less than 2.5 years. Though I can't promise that they can get you 100% I can promise and guarantee that you will NOT be misled. When they say you will hear from one of your team members, they do assign you a wonderful team, I had at least 4 team members assigned to me.
I usually don't write endorsements for anyone or any organization but to help my veteran brothers and sisters achieve what's due them, I felt it was my obligation.

I reached out to this law firm for assistance, but unfortunately, they declined to take my case without providing a clear reason why. Given that I have been diagnosed with Chronic Myeloid Leukemia and currently rated at 80%, I expect to reach 100% soon due to my ongoing treatment. It makes me wonder if their decision was influenced by the fact that there wouldn’t be much opportunity for them to collect back pay. It’s disappointing to feel as though a case is only worth pursuing if it’s financially lucrative for them rather than based on the actual need for legal assistance. I fully expect a representative to respond to this review, but the lack of transparency in their decision speaks for itself.
