Molly's Spirits - Denver, Colorado

I have been to many liquor stores in the Denver metropolitan area and most of them are on the average side which makes sense given how a bell curve or normal distribution works but Molly's Spirits was definitely at least a standard deviation above the rest (for non-math folks, that means that they are above average).

First off, the store is HUGE. I find it hard to believe that you will not find what you are looking for there. They seriously seem to have EVERYTHING!

I was also pleasantly surprised with how helpful and nice all the staff were during my visit. Because of the size of the store, I was having some difficulty finding exactly what I was looking for but a member of staff kindly guided me. The cashier was also super nice and let me know about upcoming events and deals to look out for.

I definitely will be coming back and want to check out their wine tasting and cocktail events. Thanks y'all!

Had so much fun on this trip to the liquor store. I got to do a wine tasting.That was paired with girl scout cookies, and it was amazing!!!

My friends and I came here to pick up some drinks for my partner’s birthday, and Ruby really came with the knowledge! Ruby knew so much about every single beer and cider in the fridge… I was amazed. Ruby helped suggest a few things, including a Cheesecake flavored sour ale, which all of my friends and I were stoked about. Honestly it was so good when we got home and cracked them open. Thanks Ruby for providing such a wonderful and informative experience!

I can’t bring myself to come back here again. I noticed an older gentleman following my husband and me around the store the first time we visited. I initially wrote it off as my imagination. When we returned a few weeks later, the same gentleman followed us again. I thought perhaps he was just being attentive in case we had a question. However, this morning, when we came in to look for a specific brand of bourbon, we were once again followed by this same man! Clearly, we aren’t welcome here, so we will not be returning.

I happened upon this store by accident, and was pleasantly surprised by the selection. It is quite organized, clean, and well-lit with wide aisles. One team member was very helpful in helping me locate what I was searching for and even went with me just to get a corkscrew. However, the cashier was not at all friendly. He asked if I was a 'member' and I said 'no'. Instead of taking the opportunity to explain and inquire if I may be interested, he just asked if I wanted a bag. No 'hi how are you?', no 'thank you', nothing. Didn't even bother to ask for an I.D.. I feel that it is imperative for a cashier in any business be the most friendly CSR or team member on staff. They are the last person a customer will remember on the way out, and the customer will remember how they were treated when they are choosing which liquor store to patronize. Unfriendly employees cause lost revenue, and I like to spend my hard-earned cash where I feel appreciated.

I feel as though this store has really gone downhill. I used to enjoy shopping here once a week but over time I have noticed the prices go up (now they are always above nearby competitors) and selection go down. Today I was told not to take a box for my 3 bottles because they were “running low” . How does liquor store run low on boxes?

This location has been my go 2 for years.
But today they officially lost my business. As the manager of the store was extremely rude and lied to a homeless man, that was simply hanging out on the sidewalk outside of their location. The man was inside the first portion of the store momentarily. But was never asked to leave and the so called manager said he could control who's on the sidewalk in front of their store. Absolutely disgusting

Super helpful staff. We were looking for a specific champagne and all staff was excellent and friendly. Helped us locate something special that we don't usually buy.
