Dennis is The King. I always enjoy talking with Dennis about the Days of the Fillmore, Fillmore West, Family Dog, and Winterland.
I have made many purchases from his gallery and I trust Dennis to be a man of his word when it comes to the authenticity and quality of these items. Thanks for sticking around Dennis.

Bought two posters and shipped one to a buddy and one to me. Quick shipping, came in a sturdy cardboard tube with plastic ends tightly secured and taped. Poster was rolled up in a paper sheet in the tube. Both posters came securely in excellent condition. So stoked with the results! I will definitely be buying more. Thank you!

I have been a customer of Dennis King since the seventies. Dennis is knowledgeable and prices are extremely fair. I have purchased sports cards for five dollars that are worth thousands today. The gallery has a fantastic selection of vintage rock posters and sports and non sports cards. There are also old comic books, sports memorabilia, and some old toys. Dennis is also an expert on Japanese sports cards.

I vividly remember my first purchase from Dennis King, when I was seeking the last card for my 1962 Mars Attacks set. Dennis told me I was offering too much for the last cards in the card collecting magazine, The Trader Speaks. Well, the cards are worth much more now.

If you are looking for a quality online shopping experience D. King Gallery is not your place. Or a place where you can trust the store owner.

I ordered a set of sleeves from Mr. King and returned them in the original box without even taking the sleeves out of the box. I had found a better solution for storing my posters. The sleeves were untouched. It took me 4 phone calls to reach Mr King. I left multiple message and emails. None of them were returned.

Finally once I did reach Mr. King, he told me they don't usually take back the sleeves but since they were untouched, he would take them back. BUT he insisted I get insurance on the package. This sounded very odd.

Of course I did get insurance and sent the package back. After confirming the package was delivered I again called multiple times. One I got him on the phone, Mr. King said he received the package and that it was damaged. Wait? So you don't call your customers to tell them this? You make them call you to track down the package?

He was admit that UPS would handle this as a claim and that they "stop by the store" every day. Well of course, UPS didn't approve the claim because they insisted the package was not packed right. Mr. King packed it! So long story short, an online purchase later has lost me a couple hundred dollars. Thank you Mr. King.

D. King Gallery is no where close to having the quality of service you grow to expect from businesses in Berkeley and those deal in great art. Very disappointing experience. I hope no one ever has to go through the same ordeal as I have or lose out on a couple hundred dollars.

Fantastic shop of incredible rock memorabilia and posters. I bought a Band handbill from 1969. Dennis greeted me wearing a Leafs jacket. What a legend!

I purchased a concert poster in Vegas that wasn't signed or numbered, as it was promised to be. D. King, despite not having any responsibility for this matter, put me in touch with the right people in the industry to solve the problem. Dennis was helpful beyond belief when he didn't even have to be, and incredibly responsive to my phone calls and emails. Customer service at its best!

DK Gallery is the one of the hidden gems of the East Bay. Store owner Dennis King is a human database of knowledge about all things collectible. His secret stash of sports cards and legendary rock posters is second to none in all of California.

I stumbled across his store and my jaw dropped to the floor with the amount of ridiculously rare items i saw hanging on the walls.

Do yourself a favor; if youre ever in Berkeley stop by (open Thursday - Sat). You wont regret it one bit!
