Terrible service. I purchased 1 item. When I got to the register, the cashier, manager and bagger were non chalantly chit chatting while still in the process of ringing up the customer in front of me. When it was my turn, they continued their apparently very important conversation not even acknowledging me. The cashier rang me up not once did she look at me, didn't provide my total, just simply bagged my item and proceeded to ring up next customer.

It's the worst. Looks nice and great at first but when you get to know it you see the true greedy management.

You need quarters? No problem, give them $10 and they will return $9.75

BOGO? Amazing. Except they sometimes forget to include what is excluded. Or, misplace the sign close to products of similar brands, not having BOGO that day.

Our price is too high? No problem, let's turn the tag to the back of the aisle so you don't get scared.

Produce? Just a few and overpriced as always.

Very nice store with friendly staff, good service and quick self-checkout. My favorite sections are salads and sushi, they always have fresh stuff.

The store is situated on a triangle lot and flanked by busy streets. The parking is tight and crossing the street can be a hassle. I prefer the Hispanic grocery store with the same selections, one level and sufficient free parking a block away. There is also a Fresh Market in Coconut Grove and a Whole Foods 10min from the Publix in normal traffic. The bakery is great, and there is a great breakfast spot a block from it, next to Bank of America. Prices are not bad compared to Culver City, Burbank, and locations in LA, & DC Metro in Northern VA. These places are better navigated if one (or your pronoun of choice) is multicultural. Produce in LA is astounding! And aside, Publix is owned by one of the big four monopolistic chains who are unbound by market caps, control produ
ction to the shelf and posting record profits. Use locally owned grocers and farmers markets in these areas have amazing fresh offerings. In our capitalist country we have choices.

This was my favorite store besides close to my house 🏠 but unfortunately, since I saw a terrible scene when I was sending money through the Western Union, the lady who was attending me everything was okay until another employee close to her and starting to talking about personal stuff in from of me totally irrelevant at the working place and the situation didn't over there another employee get closer to continuing the conversation like a customer what I'm they make me waiting for the service they make me wait until they finish talking about their personal stuff very disappointed, this call attending for the staff and this message specially for this store manager must give them a customer service training because this kind of situation and behavior is very uncomfortable specifically at the working place in hours where they should be doing their job not
having that kind of conversation for that reason, I give it just one star
