I’ve got to give a big shoutout to the Publix at 595 Piedmont Ave NE—this store is top-notch in every way. From the moment I walked in, I could tell the staff here was dedicated to making sure every customer felt right at home, and I’ve got to give special recognition to a few standout departments.

First off, the customer service and returns team. I needed some help with a quick return, and the manager there was so attentive and kind, making the whole process smooth and easy. It’s not every day you get greeted with a smile while doing returns, but they really make it feel like no big deal. They took the time to ensure I was satisfied with the outcome, and that personal touch is always appreciated.

Now, let’s talk about the deli and service-to-go foods department. Honestly, the sandwiches and fresh-to-go meals here are next level. The team behind the counter is always super friendly and makes sure everything is prepared just right. They’ve got a great sense of humor too, which really brightens your day while you’re ordering. Whether I’m grabbing a quick lunch or stocking up for dinner, this department always nails it.

Also, I can’t forget about the wonderful staff that helped me as I navigated the store floor. I was on the hunt for a few items, and despite being a little scattered and indecisive (hey, it happens), they went above and beyond to point me in the right direction. The staff really knows the store like the back of their hand and is always happy to assist, which made my shopping experience feel seamless and enjoyable.

The management team here is clearly doing something right—between the exceptional customer service and the welcoming atmosphere, it’s easy to see why this Publix has such a loyal customer base. Thanks to everyone at this location for making every visit feel like a treat! You all truly make shopping at Publix an experience I look forward to every time.

This Publix has the worst deli I’ve ever been to, let alone publix. They work unbelievably slow, they’re sloppy, and thoughtless about how they prepare people’s food. The first time i went there, i waited in line for over 45 MINUTES with only 3 people in front of me. The second time, I did an online order for 3pm. I got there at 3:15 at it wasn’t ready. Today i told myself “okay they work slow, so order way ahead, that way it has to be ready.” I placed my sandwich order for 3:15, and showed up at 4pm, to my sandwich still not being ready. When they finally searched for it, they found it, half finished, just sitting on the side. When i got back to work and unwrapped it, everything was wrong. They were missing so many toppings, and they overfilled it with mustard…. I hate this deli, and the negligent management, that clearly lacks the care and concern, to train better and make a difference.

Every time I go into this new Publix the lady that works at customer service asyeya (my spelling is probably off but that's real close to her name) that lady is always working always cleaning stuff up always busy always polite and incredibly awesome I mean never does she have a bad day even when customers are being rude and mean. She is The Epiphany of how people should treat people and I want to say thank you to her!!!

Great location, clean and easy to access. No steps at all. Usual great selection of everything you may need and people were lined up for the fresh made sandwiches.

A very busy store that feels quite cramped once inside! Not very easy finding things you need because of it being so compact. The parking can be a real life bumper car scenario of youre not paying attention and the time of day as well. Lastly, I think the employees could be a bit friendly at least a lil bit!

They sell fish at the deli but they don't have any tartar sauce condiments. I politely asked the grumpy old miserable lady working at the deli if she had any tartar sauce she just gave me a dirty look and said, "No." 😠 A normal adult would have said, "I'm sorry we're out right now, but we should have some more in a few days with the next shipment." But honestly I'm actually surprised she even responded to me.

The deli is horrible. Everybody has an attitude. I worked in the deli before, but every time I go there, they are just mad to be their. The manager is the worst I have ever seen. I don't get a sub from there anymore. I just go to Koger anyway, better prices period.

I came into the store after work today to purchase my favorite pancakes, but I couldn't find them as they weren't in their usual spot. Destiny, a store associate, went above and beyond, searching the store tirelessly even after I told her not to worry about it as I had found a substitution in the frozen section. To my surprise, she located them in the bakery and brought them to me at self-checkout. Her enthusiasm and dedication were astounding, and I bought a pack just because of her effort. Service like this deserves recognition—thank you again, Destiny!
