Love the new Publix on the other side of US1. Nice and spacious dining area to enjoy the $5 sushi on Wednesdays or the so popular subs. All the staff members were so polite and welcoming on the opening day, greeting everyone, holding the elevator for everyone, handing out lists of where to find basic items, and making sure everyone were having a good experience visiting the new store. Of course we’re coming back, we love Publix 💚

Love the renovations. A garage is super convenient when it's raining. I also really love the food area where you can buy meals that are ready to eat and then eat them in their little sit down dining area.

The Publix upgrade at the Briar Bay location is a big Thank You to Publix.
They have done an incredible job.
Compared to other Publix locations and competitors, the staff here is very friendly and cordial. Publix should apply the same courtesy to every Publix in the area. We were impressed with the store; it was large and well-designed to accommodate the public. The bakery and the bakery goods available were excellent and refreshing, job well done.
Overall, it was a pleasant experience, and the undercover parking is a bonus.

Lovely Publix. My mom, a widow, gets treated so nicely here. Nice produce section and Boar's Head Pub Sub bar. Only concern: parking lot looks really lonely at night. Wouldn't park there, but, then, they DO have their own parking garage.

The renovated Publix is nice and convenient since we don’t have to cross US1 anymore. But it wasn’t designed well. No escalator for the carts like the Publix on Miller & 92nd Ave, and the doors to enter and leave through the stairs are not sliding doors, so even if you decide to leave with your groceries down the stairs, you need a free hand or someone else to open the door for you.

The little cafe/eating area is nice, but the round deli/prepared food/gourmet cheeses/sushi counter right at the entrance to the right, keeps a lot of people stuck around it with their carts and it’s difficult to move around. Too many things in one place, the floral department is also right by it. And produce and meats also share the space as you walk further in.

The bakery seems to have been forgotten at the back of the store. You would think that with the Fresh Market across the street, they would have fancy up the bakery a little more? Soft white lights maybe?

The employees are great though, very attentive and cordial!

Stopped by on opening day after a complete teardown and renovation, and the new Publix looks fantastic—clean, modern, and spacious. It now features both covered parking and the original open parking area. The grocery store is located on the second floor, accessible by stairs and elevators. There's also a designated space to enjoy prepared meals from the deli. We really missed having a grocery store within walking distance of our home, and we're glad it's back!

Eager for something new, I visited the new Publix supermarket across from The Fall Mall today. As a local, I had been waiting for this moment to see what this new store closer to home would offer me.
I noticed that due to a parking issue, they had placed the merchandise on the second floor and it caught my attention that there were four elevators to access and descend with shopping carts.
My opinion: very nice, but two things seemed wrong to me: the number of self-service cash registers and, most complicated, insufficient ways to go down with the merchandise. The waiting line was 12 people long and the elevators do not hold more than two or three carts, depending on the number of people with them. I found incredible that there had not been better planning and that they had not also added an electric ramp to lower the carts with merchandise. Very strange.

I was beyond disappointed with the new Publix at Briar Bay. The layout feels extremely cramped, making the shopping experience less enjoyable. Instead of an escalator, they opted for a stairs and an elevator, which makes little sense for efficiency and convenience. The eating area is another major letdown—it has a cold, hospital-like atmosphere and isn’t even located near the bar area where food is prepared. The overall design seems poorly thought out, prioritizing space over customer comfort. I expected better from Publix, and unfortunately, this location doesn’t live up to their usual standards.
