Went to the deli today, had a taste for a roast beef sandwich on rye. The person looked around, said we don’t have rye bread at this time. Hum, they have all kinds of bread in the bakery or in the bread isle, doesn’t seem like such an unreasonable request. Seems she was a bit lazy at work today and just didn’t want to go get the bread….so the two sandwiches I so wanted and desired and to share with my friend weren’t made and I walked out, but not before I made a complaint to the assistant manager. I hope she is able to correct this wrong with the employee. This inattentiveness to serve a customer for me was unfortunate and definitely unacceptable.

I think that the person who hires the workers in this Publix forgets that we are in the United States of America where English is spoken.
They forget that even in Miami there are Americans who only speak English, which is the language of this country.
It is impossible for an American to make purchases in this location since most of its employees do not speak English.
The manager should take into account that the employees who work in customer service must speak English.

Adore this Publix! So much variety, so many new items, the fruits section is to die for. And beyond that the customer service is stellar. Kudos.

Publix has alot of ⚽️⚽️ selling the food they sell at the deli. I bought some fried rice, HORRIBLE, worst fried rice ive ever had in my life. I also got a rotisserie chicken. Disgusting flavor, super dry. I buy my meats at Wild Fork and cook it at home from now on

Amazing Publix place, one of the biggest , very clean, organized and very friendly staff.
I was near to the seafood area to take a picture when I was immediately attended for a employee, very fast attention.
Nice and clean dinner area.
I'm sure the manager is very professional to keep everything running smooth, FIVE STAR 🌟

My opinion of Publix has significantly dropped in the past couple of years. I gave them the benefit of the doubt during and shortly after the COVID pandemic because of supply chain interruptions.
However, the grocery prices Never returned to normal and they keep escalating on what seems like a weekly basis.
I went to this store yesterday (out of convenience) to buy a few things to make split pea soup. About halfway down the produce aisle, there was the strong odor of ammonia coming from the seafood department. This is a signal to me that some fish or shellfish has gone bad.
Passing the egg case, there was less than a handful of egg cartons. I am aware that there is a shortage because of the avian flu causing farmers to have to destroy millions of laying hens. HOWEVER, when I go to Whole Foods or Walmart, there is always an adequate supply of eggs.
Frankly, I have stopped doing my major shopping at Publix because of their ridiculous prices. I'll go to Walmart for household items and Whole Foods for my produce and meat.
I actually wrote to Publix corporate offices complaining about specific prices on everyday items and the response was that "some places get special pricing". I find this hard to believe on things such as coffee, milk, and other standard grocery items.
I even had a Publix employee tell me that he has noticed that most customers are only now coming for the BOGO sales.
I just don't understand why Publix is turning a deaf ear to feedback from customers when they are losing them day after day.
I am 60+ years old and have shopped at Publix for decades. However, they have lost me as a loyal customer. I'm tired of paying prices that seem to escalate on a weekly basis as well as going to various aisles and finding items missing only to be greeted with a small sign apologizing for the temporary lack of stock (who can't stock ground cloves).
Whole foods' meat and produce is about the same price or less and far higher quality.
Walmart beats Publix hands down on everyday products such as paper towels, kitchen cleaning products, coffee and so much more.
This store is only one example of every Publix where I have shopped.
I feel bad that, not shopping there will eventually hurt the employees who work for Publix (as more and more customers leave) because I have never had a complaint or bad experience with a Publix employee), but my wallet cannot sustain the corporate greed that Publix is exhibiting.
