This place consistently provides a poor customer experience with their deli department; there's always an issue. No one has a sense of urgency. When you order for pick-up, it’s never within the committed time window, wasting customers work breaks and causing time penalties for delivery carriers. There are long lines just to get a sandwich, and not once have I heard "Sorry for the wait, we’ll be right with you," as I have at other Publix locations.

Just now, I waited in line for 15 minutes, only to get to the counter and be told they were "out" of chicken tenders. Her proposed solution was to wait an additional 10 minutes for more tenders to be made. Meanwhile, it was her who used the last of the chicken tenders for the previous customer and left the empty tray without communicating more was needed. Such a high selling item for both sandwiches and hot plates should never be “running out”. Talk about losing customers and sales.

Who runs this department? They never ensure that easily corrected issues don’t arise. But i saw three deli workers at the cold cuts chatting and not doing anything. No one had the foresight to say, “Hey, chicken tenders are running low; can I please have the next batch started?”. Is there no process management for these things?

The ticket machine for mobile orders is located on the deli side, so far from the sandwich station that no one checked for my order when it came in for a previous visit. Instead, they checked only when i arrived to pick up my sandwich, which they’ve had 20–30 minutes to make.

There’s poor inventory management of items that should be fully stocked, and no one is on top of these tasks. There’s also a lack of communication between team members to ensure tasks are completed in a timely manner, or to identify when one station needs more help than another. This reflects a lack of leadership and oversight at the top, as they are clearly not running this department properly. The expected standards are not being met for your customers.

I would like someone to explain to me what is happening with the quality of these yogurts, or who is manipulating the quantity they make in these jars, you can barely see the yogurt anymore. It is an abuse against consumers, almost empty.

The amazing ladies here always go above and beyond in the deli bar for sandwiches and wraps. They make sure it’s truly a pleasure to shop there, they go out of their way to get guacamole and other fresh ingredients for your food. They specially curate your sandwich/wrap so nothing spills out.

Okay. I never give a grocery store 5 stars. But this Publix produce section was FLAWLESS. Fully stocked, organized and clean..

I've been coming to this Publix at 14601 S Dixie Hwy, Palmetto Bay, FL 33176 for years, as its closes to my job, and I have always been very happy with the service.
Sadly and most recently, I have experience a drastic decline in customer service. Mostly, the meat department has proven to be poorly managed. I did meet once Jose the store manager and he was very professional and did the ight think for me. There is never enough organic chicken or organic meats. And I get it everyone is eating healthier these days. However, in recent months (end of 2024 and beginning of 2025) I have received rain checks for meats. Frank one of the managers in that department is not open to accept rain checks and yesterday I had a poor experience and a small confrontation with him as he accepted my rain check changing the per pound from $9.29 to $7.99 on organic chicken breast packages. He became angry. He said that I have used these rain checks often and unwelcomed me back into his store. This is what he said: "this is the last time you will use rainchecks in this store" I spent over $120 yesterday (Ill try to add receipt below). So much where shopping is a pleasure! tis store has become unwelcoming and has started to provide poor customer service. The purpose of a rain check is to honor a promotion that the store runs out or does not have enough of to provide to its customers in a positive manner. In this case it was a terrible experience and unwelcoming experience. Sadly, it might be time to shop more frequently at other supermarkets that provide a more elevated client experience. Shopping has become less pleasurable at this location.

The one star is for an employee not for the store. I go to this publix at least 5 times a week. I love going to publix because it's really a pleasure shopping at publix. I always end up buying more than what I actually went there for.
I only had few bad experiences and it's with the employees. I know that not everyone is going to be how we expect to be but at least do your job properly and don't be rude or discriminate of the social status or race.
Last week I went to shop and they had Simply Organic seasonings with $2 off but in digital coupon if im not mistaken.. so when I went to check out thru the self checkout terminal, I asked the attendant how can I get the $2 off on the Simply Organic seasoning and she said I have to go to my publix app and go thru all and find it and clip the coupon. I spent at least 10 min trying to find and I couldn't and I asked if she can help me and she said I have to look for it. Then I decided to go to customer service counter to ask and they helped me right away and it was automatically off.
Today I went to buy few things and same attendant lady was there and I was the only customer checking out on the self checkout and she looked at me and didn't even smile or said good morning or anything at all. I felt so discriminated the way she looked at me!!!!! She's an old lady with a short blonde hair with glasses. Honestly she shouldn't be working at the self checkout terminal or even as customer service because she's rude and has no manner.

We were so impressed with the inventory! Especially the ethnic foods aisle! They have foods from South America, Central America, Germany, Britain, India, and beyond! Also, the shelves were very well maintained. Everything appeared to be in stock- no big gaps on the shelves. It was shockingly perfect in that way! The floors, shelves - everything looked clean. And the employees were friendly too. So glad this Publix is here!
