I once told him he's the man who makes taxes fun again since he makes my life so much easier (he was quick to note he's not sure taxes have ever been fun...).

I've easily gotten back a week of my life each of the last 10 years not having to go through the brain damage myself. I'm not sure why I kept doing my own personal taxes until finally having him do those too 5 years ago.

Not sure how he does what he does so well, but I sure do love it and actually look forward to interacting with him since he's a really good guy.

Booked a consultation to discuss questions on prior tax years and on tax implications of starting a home business. During the appointment the CPA did not take the time to understand our questions and assumed we were only trying to start a businessto write off taxes. Then after sending in our prior year tax documents I didn't hear anything back for a few weeks (outside of tax season). I followed up with them and got a very casual email back with follow up questions in incomplete sentences indicating they had not listened to us during the consult and had misread our residential and tax statuses. Overall, would not recommend - I felt like I was the one doing all the work trying to explain the situation and to ensure our taxes were optimized.

I'd rather get audited than deal with these ghouls. Save your money and avoid the hassle by taking your business elsewhere.

I requested them to process two years of my taxes. When I went in to review with them, they had only processed one year. So they shuffle to the back real quick and hastily process the other year in about 20 minutes while I waited.

After that, nothing but constant headaches from the IRS and R&D accounting. I think I had to go in three more times to get everything settled. Didn't save a penny by using them, but it added hours to my taxes and significant stress.

His whole team has been wonderful, no matter how many times I call with a question or trips I have to make because I forgot to add a document to the tax file.
