I can say that it is the best place to learn or improve your English. The location is in the heart of the city which allows you to have everything you need very close to you. Speaking of the school, it is the best, the teachers are great and become like your family. Having classmates from all over the world is also great, you learn about their cultures and they learn about yours. Each class is dynamic and always surprises you with something new. Without a doubt, I couldn't have had a better experience. ILSC Family made my stay in Sydney very welcoming.

I'm Brazilian and I studied in the morning at ILSC - SYDNEY from February to September (26 weeks). When I came to Australia to study English, I only knew the basics of the basics, just saying: hi, how are you? ; good morning; thank you; bye. I spent several happy moments at school. The teachers are willing to help us and, as I studied a long time there, I met many teachers and there were some that I will always remember because they taught me a lot. The dynamics of the classes are great for learning English. And, in my last session at school, I was already in Intermediate 2 and I chose English for Academic Purposes, there is a different dynamic and I further expanded my vocabulary in English. I evolved a lot studying at that school. They were part of my beginning in English and I will never forget that. Thank you very much for that.

I have studied here for four months. I think this school is a wonderful language school, and I am glad I chose it! There are both good and not so good classes but, most of the teachers were wonderful. I am grateful for giving me the wonderful time I had, for helping me improve my English skills, and for meeting the amazing friends:)

And also, people from various countries come here. So, I was able to make friends from different parts of the world and learn about their cultures. This has also been a wonderful experience for me.
Thank you.

I am very disappointed with this school. I have been studying here for 8 months, and what I see the most is a lack of transparency, disregard for students, and, most importantly, the practice of keeping students at the same level.

I'll break it down into parts:

Keeping Students at the Same Level:

Over the months, I noticed that the school often "failed" an entire class, claiming there was a second part of the English book that needed to be studied. However, I noticed that on some occasions, all students moved up a level without needing to complete this second part of the book. When I questioned this, I was simply ignored.

Lack of Transparency:

Regarding teacher feedback, very few teachers are transparent. Most give feedback only at the end of the session, not after each test. The problem is that this feedback ends up being very generic, and you never know exactly what you did wrong, which prevents learning from your mistakes.

Disregard for the Student:

After my first 4 months, I took a break from school. When I left, I was at level I1 and had already completed the first part of the book. When I returned from vacation, a new account was created for me, and I continued at the same level. Up to this point, everything was fine. The problem was that when I finished the session, I was kept at the same level, claiming that I needed to complete the second part of the book. When I approached the coordinators to explain that it was a mistake and that I should move up a level, I was ignored and suggested to take a test to advance to the next level.

Clearly, I was outraged and did not take the test. After weeks, I asked the teacher to check what had happened, as no one had explained my situation until then. Fortunately, the teacher was more capable than the course coordinators and clarified all my doubts.

It turns out that when I returned, a new account was created for me without the information that I had already completed part of the book, and to them, I was a "new" student. For this reason alone, I did not move up a level. Even knowing this, the school did nothing.

Unfortunately, for these and other reasons, many students end up feeling demotivated and do not progress as they should.

Australia is the best destination for studying abroad, for three main reasons, Australia is renowned globally for its top-tier education system, with teaching highly esteemed across the world. Studying in such an esteemed environment will undoubtedly enhance my professional prospects in the future . Secondly, as far as I am aware, Australia is the only country that provided EOS (Education Service for Overseas Students) regulations to safeguard the rights of foreign students studying here. This regulatory framework will support me in completing my course under the best possible conditions. Thirdly, the living expenses and tuition costs are very reasonable in comparison with other industrialized countries. Australia’s wonderful climate, rich culture, and welcoming society further motivate me to pursue my studies here. I firm believe that obtaining a high-quality graduate diploma degree from Australia, along with strong English skills, will provide me with a competitive advantage among my peers.
My studies in Australia began with a General English program at ILSC Adelaide and Sydney campus. The course lasted for more than 41 weeks. During this time, I studied various subject, including vocabulary, grammar, writing, listening, communication, English for Academic Purposes, IELTS preparation, and café work skills. I would like to thank all teachers and classmates and I also had a lot of memories in this college, making it a truly unforgettable course!
