ABIT PRICEY - but you can believe you’re getting legit work from here.
It’s the cheap prices and mechanics that screw you.

Take it from a local.
One of if only, legitimate honest mechanic in town.
Charges top dollar but you’re getting honest repairs and answers.
No one will tell you the owner (SKIP) aka earls is a petty shady automotive mechanic.
Runs top of the line crew in town.
Hard working, bust there @$$ES team.
Trust me I know. Been scammed for a whole new motor from southern Vermont auto in town. 6 grand almost.
Ever sense I started at earls I have gladly paid every extra dollar with a smile and never argued on a price because I know the ones working on it and the owner are true loyal to there customers.
Believe the state uses here as well to send there state assistance people for repairs.
You’re in the need or area for vehicle repair-oil change-inspection or anything else I would definitely recommend here. Don’t let the outside deceit you.
All the vehicles parked on the lot are customers.

AGAIN….an incredible trust worthy place.
I’ve been to most dealers around town prior and been scammed by a lot but coming to earls, even when it’s on warranty covered by another dealer fully they were legit still. well most places would of tried to suck up all your warranty coverage like every where’s else does. but earls did not give me the run around what so ever even when I asked them to check and see if anything was wrong with it before my trip and he did what only needed to be done.
They don’t shimmy you with this is wrong and this is or I needed to replace this when it wasn’t asked to be seen or touched.
Came numerous.
times it’s the only place I trust around southern Vermont.
Great friendly Owner who’s always smiling and very welcoming to customers. Staff is super helpful and friendly unlike most mechanic a$@ holes.
They do great work and the price is a little higher but I recommend paying because the cheap works where you get screwed.
If your In need of work please check this place out I highly recommend it.
If your new to the area then please trust when I say earls is a highly respected place in Bennington around town and no bad complaints about it ever.
Always willing to work with what ever needs done. Cars that are there are customers not for sale vehicles like I thought so.

Been here dozens of times like I said and is the only place that has not had one bad complaint in town.

EDIT: 1/28/25 13 months after first services. Came back for more work needed new strut and control arm plus tire and rim and sway bar replacement. They did an incredible job. I was gonna pay for a axel but being a straight up guy he said they thought the axel was broke but they were able to get a closer look at the axel today and said it just had some marks on it so it wasn’t in need of replacement after I was ready to replace and wouldn’t have a clue if it were broke or not but that’s why I go here because you get honest good work. Price I can’t argue with so. 1576$ repair turned into 1142$ instead saving me over 400$ today. Includes the alignment as wel at another place.

You seriously won’t get better honest work then here

I have been a customer for about almost a year I can say they are amazing people. Every time I have an issue with my 2005 they always squeeze me in they are very honest and helpful. They will tell you the price before they do the work and they are okay with you buying the part yourself and bring it in for them to put it in. If they have to order the part they will hold the part for you when you have the money to hand them. Very friendly welcoming people and they will help people understand the problem who have a hard time understanding things, you will never be disappointed for sure.
