When looking for a nearby Stewart’s, I was surprised by the <4 rating. Undeterred, I made the trip for ice cream. The building was spacious and clean. But the ice cream guy was the nicest! He even knew the order of the regulars in line behind us. Great ice cream, great everything- top notch establishment!

I am not sure I would even give this Bennington store a single star. Always cater to those sitting on the sidewalk asking every customer for money. But we spend our hard earned on $100. Gas and usually $50 + anytime you go into any Stewart's. But we cannot even accommodate a single shake for a dieing woman in the hospital. We will not visit this place ever again.

Ridiculously good ice cream at extremely fair prices. I had a pint of the black cherry ice cream and came back the next day for two scoops of the butter pecan. Both flavors were as good as they get, in my opinion.

I’m upset that we don’t have a Stewart’s Shop back in my hometown. Very jealous of Bennington residents for having this spot close by.

If you like ice cream, this place is a MUST.

Well stocked & well lit, and there's plenty of hot & cold made to order food available too. There is no soda fountain there like some other locations have though. While it's not that dirty, it could be cleaned more often & better than it is now. Not a 24 hour location. Some employees are a tad on the grumpy, cold side & customer service is not always the best. Bathrooms could also use a little more cleaning & were at one point locked. This Stewart's has both indoor & outdoor seating & is close to the local bus station. There's some parking & a bike rack available too for locking up your bicycle.

Stopped in on my way back from a little road trip up to Vermont and had a great chat with my cashier while they were making my ice cream. Also unrelated, but I saw someone just walk out with an entire pot of coffee and no one else seemed to react.

We buy our milk and eggs at Stewart's. I like there buy ten gallons and you get a half gallon free. We fill a card a week then we save the full cards until we can get one or two gallons free. I only buy my eggs there because they are fresh everyday.

Went to Stewarts the other day and got an large ice coffee with whipped cream and got handed one without a top, no dome lid or a flat lid even though I asked for one. The cashier responds it won't fit with the with the whipped cream, (so pour a little bit out) it still works as a lid or a top that way or a they not getting trained properly any more
