Not my first time here and was looking forward to a good meal. Waitress did not know the specials for the day when I ordered a bowl of beef barley soup and questioned why I ordered it. I should have stopped there. It looked and tasted like a can of Campbell’s Soup. Ordered the Caesar salad and it arrived looking like it had gone through a lawn mower. The romaine was chopped, saturated with bottled dressing and the croutons all dumped in a bowl. The pictures taken actually make it look better than it did on arrival and after I had mixed it up. Found one small sliver of what I think was Parmesan. The saving grace to this meal was the fried green beans with ranch dipping sauce. Outer coating was crunchy, arrived hot and tasted like green beans. The 5 oz Dunkel Beer had a good malty flavor and reminded my friend of Germany. Service hard to get. Waitress was assigned all over restaurant and took a while to bring bill. Got very loud during time there which made it hard to have a conversation without having to speak up to be heard. Sorry to say will not be returning.

8-15-24. First time diner. Came recommended I went with the clam strips and fries. A huge order, but my system did not take kindly and sat repeatedly to dispel a yellow flood.😫. Tasted great. Maybe it was bad mixers in the two exotic drinks I had. Either way I will think twice. The place is spacious with multiple stories with great potential.

I decided to skip the Bennington bypass and head into town for lunch—and it was definitely the right choice! Decided to give Madison Brewing Co. Pub & Restaurant a try and couldn't have been happier with my meal. I ordered the Chicken Bacon Ranch Wrap with sweet potatoes, and it was delicious. On top of that, the service was excellent—friendly, attentive, and fast. If you're in Bennington, this place is a must-visit!

So I love this place most of the time and as you can see from my rating I still gave them above average on most counts. Service is friendly, beer is great, atmosphere isn’t bad (though if you’re sitting where I was with the sun beating in on you from the window it can get a bit warm) but today I was baffled by the pot roast special. It was a tad pricy but the thing that got me about it and as you can see from the pics, it was pretty dry especially with no gravy or pot roast broth. I couldn’t finish the pot roast itself but everything was decent otherwise (the green beans weren’t seasoned either). I’ve had other dishes here that were awesome though. Highly recommend the cheese curds and pumpkin ale!

Had a great first experience and Madison Brewing Co. After a quick Google search we decided on this pub and it did not disappoint. The fried Brussels were scrumptious. My husband loved his burger and waffle fries. I got a salad that was huge! The beer options were abundant and tasty! Great atmosphere. Great service!

Madison Brewing Co. is a must-visit in Bennington! The food is excellent, with a great selection of pub-style dishes made with quality ingredients. The burgers are cooked perfectly, the fries are crispy, and their beer cheese is a must-try.

Speaking of beer, their craft brews are top-notch! Whether you enjoy a smooth, easy-drinking ale or a bold IPA, they have something for every taste. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, with a cozy pub feel that makes it a great spot to relax with friends or family.

The service is friendly and attentive, and the staff clearly take pride in their work. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, Madison Brewing is well worth a visit. Highly recommend!

I arrived a little after five on a Tuesday. The place was steady but not what I would call slammed busy. After I was seated at my table, the hostess came over about 20 minutes after I got my table and took my drink order. It took another almost ten minutes for my waitress to finally arrive with my beer. She then took my order. It took at least another 20 minutes before my food arrived by a kitchen runner. I had only seen my waitress once. As she was waiting on a different table they had a long wait too, she walked by to ask how everything was. I was almost finished. The hostess cleared my table and I asked her for my check. My waitress brought it a number of minutes later. And then returned with my card. She stopped at my table 4 or 5 times total. The burger was ok. The chips were over fried and actually burnt. Barely edible. The beer was fantastic. The only good part of the meal. My waitress was one of the worst I’ve ever experienced.
