They charge me $49 more for the same service my granddaughter has a few blocks away. The customer service folks are kind and helpful once we got past the accent problem. I always got American English customer service with At&T and paid less. Sad I had to switch

Cox was one of the only ISPs available in my area, so I didn't have much of a choice. They'll rope you in with their promotional prices for a year, but after that 12 months your bill will nearly double. I've had several small internet connectivity issues that usually resolved themselves with minimal trouble, but recently significant outages caused me to contact a support line. Not only did their troubleshooting over the phone fail, they tried to upsell me to a more expensive service! And when they decided the only thing left to do is have a service technician come to my house, they held a potential $75 fee over my head if the issue was "outside of standard coverage" unless I paid for their "Customer Care" plan for an additional $10 a month. Incredible. I will be terminating my service with Cox very shortly, and have no plan on returning.

The worst cable company. You pay for constant issues, NIGHTLY EMERGENCY TESTS and lost signal. I think my cable actually works 55% of the time. The rest is all that I mentioned before. Thought I would post this tonight after hours of frozen screen and signal issues that become more frequent. The only thing you can guarantee to work on is the emergency broadcast alert. This is what I pay for? Buy Google Chromecast don't subscribe to anything on it and plug it in your TV thru HDMI and download free movies 2023 app and watch more than you can with premium channels for free with your phone.

I had a tech not show up waited all day. decided to cut the services that were not being attended to by Cox.The retention specialist put me on hold and cut my phone off during the call! I replaced cox with a omnidirectional antenna , TV DVR , Roku, voice over IP box , and a new cable modem. now I have 163 channels of free 4k TV, two Phone lines with voice mail transcriptions , much Faster internet (Cox's equipment was majorly outdated) and can record 4 shows at once. now I get better more dependable service for FREE! Cox only cares about NEW customers I am surprised how easy it was to change if it wasn't for the poor service I would be still paying and additional $90 a month. Maybe after reading this review others will do the same thing I did to the tune of $1080 a year!

One of the worst customer/tech support services I have ever experienced. A technician came out a couple weeks back and made the problem worse. I was on the phone with the tech support regarding this problem for nearly 2 hours for nothing. Finally, they agreed to send another technician to fix the problem last Fri, but the technician missed the appointment. No courtesy call or nothing. I called back on the following Mon to reschedule the appointment for the next day between 3 and 5. Guess what? Their technician missed the appointment again! Unless you have no choice, I would not recommend Cox as your internet provider.

We have had issues for over 3 years now with incoming internet to our business, every time we contact COX, we are told it is an issue with Google, even though it happens with any web browser. Cox loves to pass the buck rather than take care of an obvious issues. I have also talked with other Cox customers who report the exact same issue with their service. If you have a company, I would suggest using another ISP as Cox is not going to have reliable service.

Intermittent outages, continued service delays that claim to have the internet fixed by a certain time only to push the time further back in the day every few hours. Lack of competition in the area allows Cox to provide abysmal customer service and still retain customers because everyone needs internet...Avoid Cox if at all possible.

Zero stars if i could.... we are disconnected from the internet at least 4 times a day and we sometimes have no internet for hours and a few times its takes days for it to come back on.... ive only been with Cox since I've moved in May 2018 and every time I call customer service I am told unplug the modem for 30 sec and then plug" it back in and that should fix the problem " or " sorry for the inconvenience but there seems to be an outage in your area "...... this is the Absolute worst internet provider I have ever dealt with... Att is looking real good right now. Also i am using my Verizon mobile data to write this review because I HAVE NO INTERNET CONNECTION!
