A lot of restaurants that they give perfect scores to are nasty places to eat at. I think they need to review and fine tune their health and safety practices at some point.

I visited the clinic today for my daughter to pick up a rabies vaccine that she was prescribed. One employee gave us misleading information, and was not very clear on instructions causing us to be stuck at the office for an additional 45 minutes... then while we're waiting in the clinic, an employee in one of the offices was talking negatively about the employee that we first had contact with loud enough for everyone in the waiting area to hear.

I called the Health District Dentist in March and was told $150 per visit, and $60 for Xrays on 1st visit. First visit is Exam and Xrays only, 2nd and other visits are for the dentist to do as much work as they can in 1 Hour. I live on SSD, so I don't have just shy of $400 cash to see a dentist! The Dental Mission's sliding scale was $25 per visit, including the single tooth XRay!! How does the county justify charging so much, especially for cash pay without dental insurance? I can't afford to drive to Clyde or Merkel for Resource Care Dental, so I don't know what to do, as a disabled Abilene resident!!

Although they advertise free dental care for low income persons, that is false advertising. If a person has no dental insurance, the cost of each visit is $150. So to have a tooth extracted, for example, the first mandatory visit is only for an examination, but no extraction. A second visit is then required for the actual extraction, which costs another $150. For $400, a regular dental office will do all the work in just one visit.

I was very impressed with the staff I spoke to on the phone concerning a Covid case. Even when I needed to leave a voice mail with one staff member, she called me back later and was extremely helpful and professional.

I didn't go in but I tried to call. "For English press one" so I pressed one. "Incorrect response for additional help press zero" so I press zero "incorrect response for additional help press zero" so I wait thinking maybe it will put me through. "Thank you and goodbye" this is a terrible system. Very displeased.

I am very disappointed because they told me to pay 150 dollars and I could get all the dental work done I got back today and they said I would have to pay 150 again and that's not right
