We recently completed our ADU garage conversion with ADU West Coast. The house is for my mom who was moving down from Sacramento so we were balancing her requests from long distance and our desire to have the house blend in with our current home. Cameron and team were exceptional throught the process and the the project was completed in about 9 months. The actual build did not take long once the permits and drawings were all approved by the city. The actual build was between 4-5 months.

The crew, led by their PM, Ruben was also very helpful, giving us ideas and recommedations on how to improve the house. Anytime we found something that needed to be corrected or tweaked they were quick to remedy the issue. We checked out a few ADU companies before deciding on ADU West Coast but found the type of build they offered and their regular communication the right fit for us. Cameron also gave us tours of a few of their projects before we even agreed to sign with them. We would recommend using them, but like any project we do recommend that you are personally involved. Their team was very open to us checking on the progress each day.

Also, they were also very good about keeping the exterior clean as much as possible. We've seen other homes where the exterior becomes a dump but Cameron and team were constantly making sure the property didn't become an eyesore while the work was being completed.

I would definitely recommend them for your ADU conversion.

We built 2 ground-up 2 bed 2 bath units at a multifamily property in Fullerton. From start to finish, Cameron and the team were thoroughly professional and easy to work with. I especially appreciated Cameron's communicative nature. He was clear, responsive and transparent throughout the whole process. Obstacles are inevitable in most building/renovation projects. Its important to have someone competent and trustworthy to work through those issues. If I had a concern, I felt Cameron and the team heard me and they worked to make it right. We had the best experience with ADU West Coast.

We wanted to convert our garage into an ADU for additional rental income to support our family. But we didn't know where to start. Throughout doing research, I noticed Cameron's informative videos regarding ADU's. His knowledge of ADU's helped our family better understand how it works. So, we decided to reach out! Cameron set up an in-person consultation.

Throughout our consultation, Cameron took the time to really understand our needs and why we were building the ADU. Also, that we had a tight budget. He took this all into consideration and gave us a lot of great advice and information.

We received our quote and it was right in our budget! We signed the contract and from there ADU West Coast did the rest! It was great because our busy family didn't have the time to manage a project like this. They took care of the plans, drawings, permits, talking with the city, construction etc.. All we needed to do was pay the fees and pick the designs.

Our project did take a long-time to complete due to the city being backed up on approving permits and inspection and we had some bumps in the road (as you can expect with any project). Nevertheless, ADU West Coast did as much as they could to push the city for us and reassure our confidence in the process.

The team at ADU West Coast always made themselves available for us to ask any question big or small (just a text or phone call away). And we asked A LOT of questions lol.

Our ADU is now complete and the quality of work is impeccable. I definitely recommend going with ADU West Coast. Especially, if this is something new for you!

We will definitely be using ADU West Coast for our next ADU project!

We had been contemplating doing an ADU for years to house a family member but It seemed like a daunting process. I finally decided to pull the trigger on our ADU and I'm happy we were able to find ADU West Coast to help us out with our garage conversion. From design to construction, communication was great throughout the job. You can tell they have been doing this a while. Having the in house designer and engineer was huge. I have had really bad experiences previously with contractors but this was the total opposite. If you are looking to build an ADU in LA or OC i highly recommend using them.
