We've been in Angerman's a few times now. They have the best selection of boots and gear, especially wet/rain gear. Surprisingly, prices are very competitive even with the online monsters. It's great to be able to try before you buy and get friendly, knowledgeable service at the same time.

I made a new friend in AK! Shipping is absolutely horrendous to this very remote place...I looked up gift shops in Alaska, Angermans was fourth on the list! I took a chance and called, asked if it would be possible for.the clerk to help locate a gift for him for Valentines day!
I told her a few of his "likes" and she happened to have the perfect gift!! She wrapped it in beautiful paper, the card was gorgeous and he was very happy with his gift. O am so excited to be able to show him how much I care.without the expense of mailing!!
