Fell in love with the bread first at a mill in darke county. Then found the actually bakery that makes the bread. Food is really good! Amazing sourdough and pumpernickel bread. The cherry almond cookie is my favorite item! My boyfriend said the Ruben is the best he has had in a while. My son is in love with the carrot cake! We don’t live in the area but have went twice. Happy both times! The staff are helpful and sweet. I will say if you get a sandwich and chips portions can be a little small for the price, but it is very delicious. You will want to watch the google busy live monitor. There isn’t much seating, if you expect to sit inside and eat. But we’ve not had an issue getting a seat by the time we get our food. We will be back for sure. The area around it is cute. Parking is in the street 🙂

Sandwich was good, but check the pic that shows the small amount of chips! Not even a bag of chips is given. The Veg SW chili was about as good as a can of Campbell's. But the kicker, only botled water a $1.50 @ bottle. No free water, unless you go to the bathroom and refill at the sink 🤣

A hidden gem! Their bread is delicious! (Though I usually bake my own, it was nice to try and tasted just like homemade bread) What you don't see in the pictures is a frosted Cinnamon roll, my 4 year old couldn't wait lol.

The lady working behind the counter was very patient, kind and helpful while my children's eyes got bigger and bigger with each beautiful baked good they noticed as they made their decisions on what treats to take home and try. This was our first visit here and has already turned into a favorite.

Amazing place, but you really should go back to your original cinnamon roll recipe. Your existing recipe is good but not nearly as good.

First time stopping in and all I need was some Sourdough bread.

The loaf was so fresh they warned me that if I needed it sliced it may smoosh it a bit. Told them that’s fine. The plan was just to make brisket sandwiches with Irish cheddar and garlic, aïoli.
As it was so fresh I was instructed to not tie the bag up and let it cool.

Great customer service.

The bread itself was some of the best sour dough I’ve had in years.

We will be back to get more great bread!

I love this place, but every time I order greens with my breakfast they give me fruit. Every. Single. Time.

We ordered breakfast sandwiches and coffee.
Both were very delicious and satisfying.
All ingredients were very fresh.
The coffee was quite good, smooth with no acid bite.
Natalie was friendly, welcoming and very knowledgeable.
We took home a lemon bar, brownie and a loaf of Italian bread.
Each were fresh and tasted heavenly.
We’ll be back😋

Love the Bakehouse. Been going since I moved to Troy in 2018. Love the chicken salad and my favorite is the carrot cake! Hard to resist all the sweets!
