There are many dimensions in judging or rating a business - for design firms, like Base Design the minimum is aesthetics, creativity, and innovative approaches. Eli and his team have that in spades. But in the more business-like assessments, qualities such as responsiveness, reasonable costs, and deep interaction with our team matter nearly as much. Here too, Base Design has done an excellent job. If something is not right, they don't get defensive - they fix it. If the design doesn't reflect the brand and product you are building, they internalize the feedback and come back at you quickly with a whole new set of ideas. There's no baggage, no ego, and no administrative overhead.
My role is primarily as editor, giving feedback, and not as a generator of ideas - Base Design works really really well with our team. I suspect they will work well with yours.
