Disappointing Experience with Cassandra as Airbnb Co-Host
My experience with Cassandra as an Airbnb co-host was unfortunately far from satisfactory. Initially, she promised professionalism and responsiveness, but these assurances fell flat after the 2nd guest.
Communication was a significant issue throughout our arrangement. Despite being informed of my travel plans, I found myself consistently managing all guest communications. This included instances where guests had to wait for hours before I could respond due to travelling, despite her promise she would respond promptly within an hour of each message during day/early evening hours. This inconsistency created unnecessary stress and inconvenience for both myself and the guests.
Moreover, the lack of tangible value added to the hosting experience was notable. Cassandra charged fees for each transaction but did not deliver corresponding levels of service or support. Instead, I was handling the responsibilities alone, contrary to the expectations set at the outset.
During our interactions, it became apparent that Cassandra's priorities seemed skewed. Rather than focusing on providing excellent service, she appeared more interested in personal pursuits, such as shopping for designer labels and indulging in personal expenditures. This apparent lack of dedication to the job was disappointing and did not align with the professional standards I had anticipated.
In conclusion, my experience with Cassandra as an Airbnb co-host was marred by poor communication, a lack of value-added service, and a noticeable misalignment of priorities. For those considering her services, I would advise caution and thorough consideration of expectations versus actual delivery.
