I applied twice now and they said they never got my application the first time. When I call they transfer to a person who just picks up to hang up. Did that twice now and now when I try to call the general line, they don’t pick up. I’ve emailed multiple times and no response. This is absolutely unacceptable. If I could give negative stars I would. I’m not sure how people get accepted by these people but it must be who you know and not by need. I guess a single mother trying to go to school and find work, on welfare doesn’t qualify for help.

Ive been on the waitlist since May 2024 it is now December 2024 still nothing I've contacted them almost everyday via email and phone . Some days they do not response at all some days I'll get contacted couple days later . It ridiculous I know a couple of people who got approved with in weeks yet im still here on a waitlist . I dint understand how they expect us mothers to work when programs like this can't even help us with childcare . And if you call them they have an attitude and everything . Please get it together .

Shouldn't even give y'all star but I can't post til I do lol .

I was submitted application for my daughter since March 2021. Now July 2023, I didn’t hear anything from them. I called the agency today. And the lady said ‘ SHIT’ while talking to me. Then transferred my call to another lady. She said, they tried to contact me in February by phone and mail. Unfortunately, I did not receive anything.

I had a pretty good experience with this agency. I walked in and they were able to get the ball rolling on my childcare almost immediately. I did have a bit of a difficulty when it came to verifying that care had in-fact started. My childcare provider was told I was not yet approved. I called the agency and they were very accommodating in providing me with verification. Also special shout out to the receptionist who is very kind. You can tell she cares about the service they are providing.

It is unfortunate that I've had such a negative experience Recently, as a single mother of twins in San Mateo County is difficult to survive being rich, but even more difficult when the safety net of childcare has not only disappeared but left you with a bill from your last day care of that they said they cover. The communication I've had recently before these has been nothing short of unprofessional to say the least, delayed, rude, antagonizing, inappropriate, inaccurate, and definitely vague despite my repeated attempts to meet the status factory requirements that apparently I was approved for yet star minated

4Cs provides many services to children, families, and childcare providers in San Mateo County. They are a resource and referral agency, they train and support caregivers in CPR and first aid, developmentally appropriate curriculum, and understanding child card license regulations. 4Cs is a dynamic hub for providers and organizations that passionately care about connecting and funding San Mateo County families with child care options.

Recently I volunteered with the 4Cs and the “Help a Mother Out” organization to deliver free diapers to the community. 4Cs has also organized coat and book give aways. 4Cs is a small and devoted group of people who are working to support San Mateo Counties families in a variety of ways.

The secretary who answers the phone is extremely rude and hung up on me. This place will continue to get bad reviews until the build a better support system within their establishment to help single mothers. Instead it's a big circus just to get one piece of advice
