Laxalt and McIver exceeded our expectations for our branding! We had been eyeing them forever, waiting for just the right time to start our branding process for our photography/videography company. We are a digital health startup based in the San Francisco Bay Area and have been working with Laxalt & McIver for about three years. The team at L&M has helped us with a number of design-related projects, including: branding, website design and management, HTML email campaigns, general marketing collateral (e.g. flyers, trifolds, banners, etc.), pitch deck creation & design, conceptual design, infographics, numerous speaking engagement deck design projects, and more.

Several things stand out in regards to our experience working with L&M. First, L&M has never told us ‘no’. Especially in regards to tight deadlines, L&M has always made time for critical projects, collaborating every step of the way, so the work is completed efficiently and meets our design expectations.

Second, L&M has done a remarkable job designing some very complex technological and industry-specific concepts. Being a startup in the complex world of health, health care, and technology, we’ve had a number of complicated design projects that L&M tackled with enthusiasm and great attention to detail. In these instances, L&M had the especially difficult job of taking complex concepts and designing visuals that made these concepts intuitive. Whether it was artificial intelligence, the way an analytic engine models massive amounts of data, or changes in population health over time, L&M took the time to understand the concept before creating beautiful visuals to communicate this information in new ways.

Third, the team at L&M are true partners in the work they do. When snafus or bumps in the road arise, as they inevitably do, the team is prepared to work with you to solve the problem. This has meant finding alternate print locations and working late nights and weekends among other solutions. L&M is accountable for the work they do, and will not let you down.

It has been a real pleasure working with L&M. They are a group of high-energy, warm, creative young professionals, and the work they produce is top quality. They are detail-oriented, very communicative, and clearly enjoy what they do. Having a high quality design team on tap is invaluable, and L&M is exactly that.
