This is a big supermarket. This location on 1 st Ave is very specious, so, price high. This store has everything a supermarket could have. No public parking available. This store is very neat and bright 😊. Their hotbar hot good was closed when I visited them

If you love paying 15% higher prices than virtually any other grocery store in the city (except for Gristedes which is owned by the same family as D’QAgostino’s), then this place is your jam! It’s WAY overpriced, you don’t get proper value for your money at virtually any piece of this store. Even the hot bar is absurdly expensive. The sushi? DAYS old and it tastes like it.

AHHH....!😌 First of all, I COMPLETELY FORGOTTEN about this FAMOUS supermarket because I often use hear about D'Agostino on the radio 📻🔘 when I was younger, let alone STILL EVEN EXISTS! Plus I don't remembering ever shopping 🛒🛍️ there until recently. Two, the supermarket was so nice & empty & VERY BEAUTIFULLY CLEAN & VERY WELL ORGANIZED!! 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾😉😃 The first time I've shopped in there I was buying me some two Mott's flavored Pear 🍐 of Apple 🍎🍏 sauce cups & this VERY NEW Flavor two litter bottle of soda.🥤 But this soda did not have no taste to it, except that it was sweet & still delicious! And the employees was Very Nice also! But I didn't know that there was two D'AGOSTINO supermarkets in the city. The other one was also nice but slightly different from the one on 1st avenue. But I will ALWAYS LOVE this D'AGOSTINO supermarket on the 1st Avenue the Most!!!!!😃👍🏾👍🏾😉♥️🍐🍎🍏

You will be wondered when in such a big store they'll tell you that they don't have a bathroom for their customers.

The most expensive supermarket in all of NYC. Their prices are so much higher than other supermarkets It seems like they don't want anyone shopping there. That's why you never see more than 3 or 4 people shopping in there at the same time, even on a Sat afternoon. I live across the street. Occasionally I'll go in there for a common item or two like a qt or milk or bottle of ketchup. But I'd never buy most of my groceries there.

Worst of the worst. I asked for compensation for moldy berries in February 2022. While I received an email response, and was promised a gift card, it was never mailed to me despite multiple follow ups.
Prices are also extortionate; the most offensive example I’ve encountered is a tube of chipotle mayo for $14.
