We have had two absolutely wonderful experiences at the Montebello Branch library. First, we signed both of our daughters up for the Summer Adventure which encourages reading, creating and exploring. And if they complete the challenge, they get a free day at the Denver zoo.

And then we went back and spent the afternoon in the Idea Lab. We all made crafts and the staff was incredibly knowledgeable, patient and helpful.

This is such a great library. We bring our little guy here weekly for their Little University Program. It is such an amazing and free program for little kids. They do something new every week. We feel so lucky to have programs like this in the area. The library staff are always incredible and so great with kids. They are really friendly, welcoming, and you can tell they are invested in the kids learning. The atmosphere is conducive to learning with toys, bright colors, and of course books. So happy to have this Montbello library branch close to our home.

Used the Idealab and got to make cool stuff with 3D printing! Montbello is far from me but this was worth the drive

One of the lesser used libraries in the area, but a hidden gem. It's not very big, but there's lots of very comfy seats, and a great desk area with plugins and spinny chairs. Beautiful murals in the kids' section, and a proclaimed safe space for LGBTQIA+, with an area designated specifically for teens. The only drawback, if you could call it that, is there's no vending machines in the area. But the staff were friendly, and in spite of it being very hot outside, the library was cool and cozy. I'll definitely be back.

I used to be one of the kids running around now that I'm older I'm still thankful that this library is still here. It is safe for kids and culturally advanced for everyone. There is a Broncos boys and girls Club literally across from it. There about 10- 15 public computers for both kids and adults. The youth do have a small room for themselves as well. The library does cater to youth because that's the need within the Montbello community. If you want to get a good two hours in go before school lets out or you can always reserve a computer ahead of time.

My husband grew up in this library. He says it used to be bigger and better but I personally like it. We always come in the mornings before the kids come in and take up all the computers. Which I’ve seen in my home state lots of kids do. So I kinda found that Normal. I went with my husband once and he was on the computer and I was bored and saw they were letting people color butterflies. So I colored mine and turned it in and saw it on the window a couple days later. Definitely would love to do something like that with our little one that were expecting soon.
