Unfortunately it took me a little while to post this review because I was going to let bygones be bygones. Anyone who reads and follows my reviews knows that I am nothing but honest and paint a clear picture. Many of my reviews are liked and shared in the community because of my accuracy for calling it like it is. My family has been members and clients of Disanto Priest for over 30 years (including since one of the original partners founded his accounting firm as a young lad). We grew with the company over the years and for many years we were very happy. What we started to see you towards the end was that Disanto Priest was growing too big too fast and lacked proper management. Several long time employees left and or quit under suspicious circumstances - in the middle of preparing taxes for several of my family’s companies as well as our personal returns. The people who took over our returns then tried to blame us for their company’s downfalls and never accepted responsibility for their actions. Additionally they overcharged By a wide margin for simple tax returns. If you are a large company then you may not care about the pitfalls of using Disanto Priest; however, if you are a small business, a medium sized business or an individual Disanto Priest is way too big to serve your needs.

After we were finally able to resolve taxes that should have been taken care of by there a long time employee Lori (who quit without notice after working there for twenty years), we continued to receive late fees and notices from both the state and federal government for over a year. These late fees were strictly and 100% due to Disanto Priest. Furthermore I had a personal deal with Lori to have some bookkeeping done and later received a bill for over $10,000 and they told me they apologize but they have no record of the original contract from the employee who quit and that that would be the fee (I never would have agreed to $10,000 for the minor amount of bookkeeping). Last, my family decided to settle on our total balance with Disanto Priest because it was clearly astronomical and exorbitant. Disanto Priest agreed to settle because they knew that their record keeping was less than stellar and that they really had no idea what Lori did before she left and how to handle the situation. We made our final payments over eight months ago. After eight months with our amazing new accountant (who is less than half the price and also across the street from Disanto Priest) I arrived at our businesses as well as our houses yesterday to find another set of bills from Disanto Priest. So, now it is time for me to tell the truth of what happened and leave an actual review. These guys are jokes of the professional world. My family has been in business for over 50 years and does millions of dollars a year in business please feel free to reach out to me if you’d like to hear about my experience with Disanto Priest I am always happy to speak in detail and help other people avoid the same pitfalls that my family had to find out the hard way.
