Our children attended Fiddlesticks, and we had a very positive experience. The community is exceptional, and it was great getting to be in the classroom with the other parents and students. Establishing a strong foundation for learning and education is so important, and actively participating alongside Teacher Jamie was an enriching experience. Both my kids and I formed valuable friendships through the cooperative experience.

We loved Fiddlesticks Preschool! This school was wonderful in preparing our son for kindergarten. The teacher, Miss Jamie is so great with the kids and truly cares for each one of them. I enjoyed getting to be a helper in the classroom and going on all the fun field trips!

This is my 2nd year at Fiddlesticks and I will have my younger daughter begin next year. I wouldn’t send my children anywhere else. Teacher Bobbi is not only well educated but also has a natural way with children. Her love for her teaching shows through all she does in the classroom. I love the family involvement that truly makes all the parents feel like friends. Would recommend to my best friend.

This school is incredible. The thought and love that goes into each school day by Teacher Bobbi is SOMETHING YOU WILL NOT FIND ANYWHERE ELSE. Bobbi, is inspiring, creative, brilliant and what she has created with this school is one of a kind. It’s amazing when you meet people and you mention Teacher Bobbi and they say “ oh my son / daughter had Teacher Bobbi and he / she just graduated” Her themes , her curriculum , her play is going to not only prepare your child for kindergarten mentally but socially and emotionally as well. The parent involvement is wonderful and you get to unite among incredible parents forming bonds that will last a lifetime.

The setting of the cooperative is far beyond what you could expect from a preschool. Bobbi is a gem of a teacher with creative ideas to engage children to learn and play.

This was our 2nd year at this preschool. This year, prior to school starting, we were informed the regular teacher would not be teaching this year. Many parents were unsure about this, but trusted that a great replacement would be found. That is exactly what happened! Many of the parents were very happy with the teacher and her way of teaching, and our children were constantly learning new things. The board members started holding meetings and apparently began figuring out how to terminate the new teacher, without asking an opinion of the parents that weren't on the board. These board members and the parents that supposedly threatened to remove their children, claimed that the teacher's curriculum was not getting their children ready for kindergarten (this was barely 2 months into the school year) and that there were safety concerns. As a co-op, multiple parents are in the classroom everyday with the teacher. These "safety concerns" were never brought up to the teacher when they "supposedly" happened, but instead were told to board members claiming these things happened. When parents found out they were firing the teacher, many of us were not happy. Emails were formed and sent to board members that went ingnored, and they refused to give us answers until a meeting that was scheduled after the teacher was already gone because many of them were conveniently on vacation at the time. Prior to the meeting, many of us were sent emails threatening legal action against us by a board member for simply responding to an email that was sent to all members of the school. At the meeting, that same person verbally attacked anyone that had a differing opinion than they did. After the meeting, many of us unenrolled our children from the school. We did not feel it was in our or our childrens best interest to be around such hostility between parents that are required to volunteer together in the classroom. We also felt left out of a huge decision to fire a teacher, being that it is a co-op and is centered around parent involvement. We were even asked to pledge extra money on top of the tuition and fundraiser that were required on the same day they fired the teacher 🤔. They have also yet to return money that was paid up front at the beginning of the school year to cover our field trips to any of us that unerolled our children.

If you're looking for the co-op family atmosphere this is not the place for your preschooler. Unfortunately due to actions of the board making decisions that we feel were not in the best interest of the children we had to withdraw our child and find him a new school 3 months in to the school year. The communication between the board members and parents was very unprofessional. This was very heartbreaking to our family and many others.
