The cops in this city are very unrealistic, Iv seen ppl get tickets for J walking? This city leaches off the people for money any way they can I have never been to a city that more strict than Flower Mound when it comes literally anything. If you want peace and to not get harrassed by cops don't move here.

Officer cut me off 10’ in front of my car, no blinker and continues on. Thought he was going after the Volvo that passed me doing at least 45mph in a 30, nope. Come to the stop and he takes a right turn no blinker again. Broken I doubt it. Turn signal big deal, not completely, but I’d sure get a ticket if I did the same maneuver in front of him. 2 stars because he had a pretty sweet SUV. I’ll have my dash cam on always now just so I have the evidence of all these NO F’s wacky drivers in TX.

Wow! What a garbage precinct. Officer decided for himself that I was to blame for an accident without allowing either of our insurance companies to do an investigation. He is a danger to the public along with all of his co-workers.

My boyfriend and I went to the police department today with no one on site. Used the telephone to speak to a police officer and waited almost an hour and no one came out. Called them again to asked if they have forgotten about us and they said someone will be out there. When my boyfriend asked how long, they replied back, “when someone is available.” We were just trying to get a time frame, but they could care less. I’ve never had this kind of bad service. I live in Allen and the police department are amazing!!!! Compare to Flower Mound, this department is a joke. We filed a complaint on Feb 22nd and we are suppose to hear from a detective between 3-5 days and we are long overdue and has heard nothing from them.

Nothing about this place screams “I will keep you safe” I called the non emergency number because a grown man tried to get me to hit his car because of his insane road rage and continued to follow me aggressively to see where I lived. I felt extremely unsafe and they basically just said “he did nothing you’re an idiot for calling” They just hire anybody and everybody huh, great job at keeping your people safe!!!

I had a meeting with a flower mound police detective to review an incident & its corresponding police report- the experience was truly unforgettable..

The report was very detailed and lengthy, but the detective was opposite. We left the meeting confused, either the detective could not comprehend the tasks involved in his job, or the effort needed from him was too much and just talked in circles. It’s a shame to think people may have this guy “helping” them in an unfortunate situation where answers are needed.

I have mixed feelings about this particular police department. I filed a well-documented criminal complaint earlier this year, and although the detective was nice & listened closely as I proceeded to fill out my affidavit, the case was dropped within 2 weeks because the criminal lied to them when he was brought in for questioning. After speaking to others in my community, this seems to be a consistent pattern at FMPD. For the record, I was able to confirm the accused criminal lied when questioned during his police interview by requesting my police report via Open Records Request.

They like to take down reviews so they look better. All they specialize in is harassing people. I called once for people looking in my window. I was met by the officers with guns drawn on me at my own house, then the refused to get there Sargent present so I had to ask dispatch for one. This not my only encouragement with these jokers. They just should let the Lewisville police take the area and fire all these worthless people that's put a bad name on the badge. Keep deleting my post and I'll repost. I'll be checking everyday from now on.
