I really like our public library. It needs so my TLC. The restrooms are a mess both times we’ve gone. The toys in the “temporary” kids zone are old broken. I know they are remodeling the kids area. We can’t wait!

I enjoying coming here. It’s a nice place to come read. The only issue I have is the parking lot is too dark at night. The outside lights either don’t work, or not enough lights.

This library has such a sad selection of books. The series are not complete and usually don’t have the 1st book in a series. You would think they’d be able to afford a better selection considering they charge you 3 times the price of a book when you lose it. My son lost a book and they want him to pay $30 when the book retails at $9.99. The city should look into the over priced books the library is purchasing from their supplier. I even offered to replace it but they said they couldn’t do that. I only have a part time job and can’t afford to pay that and my kids really like going to the library for the manga and the computers in the teen room.

Update: called the library twice to remedy the situation but Mr Rolando was out of the office both times and I haven’t received a called back.

A quiet place to work on projects teach or study in group or alone, much better studying environment than Brownsville library. No eating, drinking, only water allowed, that makes me feel like a place to do my job right. Two thumbs up.

Libraries are awesome! A public place were you can access all types of knowledge. From using the internet to checking out books a library is one of the best additions to society.

Bird wise: being near a lake you have the opportunity to see ducks, herons, gulls, and terns. Such as black-bellied whistling duck, pied-billed grebes, green heron, forester's tern, even tropical kingbirds and great kiskadee. At the right time of day UPI can get raptor flyovers even parrots.

Very nice sculptures and library building design. Very quiet. Library is kind of away from the busy city streets. Lots of parking spaces. Front desk clerk was friendly and helpful. Lots of summer activities for youth.
