I just don't understand how businesses couldn't care less about a potential new client who was trying to price their services. As a fellow Chamber of Commerce member I thought there would be some common respect and decency between members. I was wrong. And if somehow once they found out they were being compared to other local chamber members and felt so affronted that anyone dare to conduct proper due diligence and put them up against their local competition, they should get thicker skin and understand the business world and how things work. As a small business owner with several websites that just didn't present a cohesive brand and image I reached out. Spent my time I don't have to go through their intake process. 5 days later than Angela said I'd get a project description and a quote she finally contacts me. I had written them off. She says "I HAVE PRICING when can you meet?" I state I just received the pricing from the other two vendors and being Friday, I'd love to have hers to consider over the weekend. Can you meet today. They could not but they could send something over. BUUUUUUUTTTTTTTTT now there are a whole slew of "open questions" the "team and I need to know before we can send something to you." Sure. Either you did a half-baked job on intake or now you are offended that someone dare shop around. I IMMEDIATELY answer every question and get a response that this is great and just what we need to get you pricing. PRICING SHE ALREADY ALLEGEDLY HAD THAT MORNING. Wait the rest of Friday, crickets. Saturdary, chirp chirp. Sunday, nothing. Monday, nothing. Tuesday 847pm as I write this, zippo!!! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND EXCLUDING IMPACT ADVERTISING FROM YOUR LIST IF YOU ARE SEEKING 1) TIMELINESS 2) RESPONSIVENESS 3) DECENCY AND RESPECT FOR YOUR VALUABLE TIME. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND CHRIS AT POSITIVE MEDIUM FOR BEING VERY CUSTOMER-FOCUSED, TIMELY, ENGAGED, THOROUGH AND I HONESTLY HAVE NO IDEA IF HE'S COMPETITIVE VERSUS IMPACT, BUT DON'T REALLY CARE. Maybe Impact is so big and so rich they are too big to fail? Not getting my hard-earned money...not one cent.
