Our firm recently engaged Jo Davis for a watercolor class. We had a blast. Jo's knowledge and approach to the class was a much-needed break for us from the grind of fighting insurance companies. Everyone was happy they chose to attend regardless of their level of experience with art. Despite working together for many years, we learned a lot about each other in this laid-back setting as we explored the use of the right side of our brains. The class took place on the top floor of the Candy factory in Lancaster. The view and the ambience dovetailed into the artistic experience. We will be back and I would recommend that your company schedule a class with Jo Davis.

I had an amazing time at one of Jo’s watercolor workshops. It was a really fun and low pressure way to get back into making art. I loved the small group setting and had a nice time chatting with the other painters. Some of us had painted with watercolors before, and some of us with beginners. Jo does a great job of leading the group through some watercolor basics as well as sharing some mindful ways to use painting as a part of a self care. I would recommend Jo’s classes to anyone looking to bring more art into their life. Do it, they fill up quickly!!
I am a creative person but felt intimidated by a group class experience. I’ve seen myself play Pictionary- it’s not pretty. This class was genuinely for all abilities, I felt calm and learned a lot. It felt so safe and easy to venture outside my normal box. I’m not sure how Jo’s personality is so good?! She was warm and made everyone at ease. I am going to buy some watercolors and use it as a stress reliever at home. What a fun night! Since my class I’ve also connected with Jo about some branding help for my business. She’s been a great resource for creative approaches to communicating my messages. She’s the best.

I attended one of Jo Davis' "stress free beginner watercolor" classes and it was a truly lovely experience. Jo has such a special and unique approach to making art and the creative process feel accessible, joyful, and totally do-able for EVERYONE, even folks with absolutely no prior art experience or those who describe themselves as "not really creative or artistic at all" (Jo would kindly and gently disagree, BTW!) Her calming presence, gentle encouragement, and original techniques and prompts enabled me to "get out of my head" and see where the brushes and the paints took me. An absolute delight! Her class gave me a whole new understanding of the power and potential of art as self-care.

What a wonderful experience! The location was accessible with plenty of parking. The beginner watercolor class was so relaxing. I practiced some very basic techniques. The class members were fun and supportive. I can't wait to see what other classes will be offered. I definitely recommend!
