I stopped by Kam Man Market today and found many items that helped me make small but noticeable improvements to my kitchen and organization.

Everyone knows how that could be with a growing family. I invested in some higher quality dinner utensils I was unable to find elsewhere for the same price. Most vendors sell them in larger sets but here I was able to tailor it to my needs. I also found some large porcelain soup spoons. Perfect for when we have soup noodles at home.

Also a very unique rack that served perfectly for my bamboo cutting board (a gift) and chopsticks. It keeps the cutting board lifted to dry and free from mold and also keeps the chopsticks from falling to the side which happens all too often. A very ergonomic design I haven’t seen in all my shopping at other vendors.

I bought a little dust pan and brush for minor countertop messes I make from scooping formula repeatedly. And an affordable thermos for trips with the baby.

Also, if youre looking to clean the lime or residue from your hot water dispenser it’s here! I tried to order it from Amazon and it took so long from Japan they canceled it. I was very surprised to see it here.

Finally I also saw metalic exercise balls for the hand that I haven’t in many years. I quickly added it to my basket along with incense. after buying I also saw that it is perfect for meditation and relaxation as well.

I quickly integrated these items to my new home and they all work great. I’m pleased with my purchases and was not disappointed. I will continue to add to my collection from their wide assortment of dinnerware. Again all at competitive prices!

I am extremely disappointed with the store's return and exchange policy. I have been a loyal customer, shopping here for nearly 30 years. Recently, I purchased a package of frozen fish balls and discovered it was contaminated with mold. I've bought this product many times from different stores and have never encountered such an issue.

A few days after the purchase, I brought the package back to the store, intending to exchange it for another product, as the receipt clearly stated that refunds were not offered, but exchanges or store credit were allowed.

However, the manager/owner refused to accept the return, claiming that the package was sold frozen, and because I returned it unfrozen, it could no longer be resold. He even stated that the green mold was "natural" and showed me other packages in their freezer, which also appeared to be contaminated. This was shocking, as it suggested the entire batch might have been compromised. To make matters worse, he accused me of mishandling the product at home, which was entirely untrue.

The package was unopened when I returned it, and despite their policy, the store made excuses to avoid resolving the issue. If I, as a customer, express concerns about a defective product, the store should take responsibility instead of deflecting blame.

On top of this experience, the store's prices have always been higher than other Chinese grocery stores. I was willing to pay the premium for the convenience, but this incident has changed my mind. Shoppers should be cautious when buying products here--always check expiration dates carefully. And don't expect any support if you need to return or exchange an item.

Due to this poor customer service and lack of accountability, I will never shop at this store again.

As one of the bigger stores in the neighborhood, New Kam Man has a wider selection of goods than its competitors. The street level has packaged and prepared food while the lower level has kitchen items and a good tea selection. But bigger is not necessarily cheaper and I would encourage you to compare prices at nearby Sun Vin grocery on Mulberry Street.

It's always a Blessing to shop here. Over the past 20 years they still supply all of my needs especially for Chinese New Year Celebrations. Only downside is they never have have The Black Bean Hoppia Cake anymore 😕 😪

New Kam Man is a nice and neatly organized market in Chinatown. First visit was worth it! The young lady at the checkout line kindly pointed me and my mother to the location of the Two Girls Florida Water, which I enjoyed the scent of 🙂 Thank you for a wonderful experience!

I used to visit this supermarket frequently, that was almost 30 years old. there is little change here so it brought back lots of memories !

I loved the variety of ready-to-eat meats from their deli department . Also there are stands outside the entrance selling exotic fruits.

The basement at New Kam Man is just a fun place to go. They have plates and bowls and teas but also a toy and stationary section. I grabbed some fun stickers the last time I was there

Small take-out food counter at the entrance to the supermarket with big portions, delicious food, and very affordable prices. I had the roast pork over rice for $6.50, and I was contently satisfied.
