The boss hired me knowing full well that I did not go to school for what she was hiring me for. I explained this to her multiple times. She apparently believed that learning the way her business runs(if you can even call it that) could be understood and tasks would be completed successfully with no prior knowledge. During the interview she agreed to pay me 75% more than I was actually paid. She only told me the second week the pay which was not even enough to live on my own whenever I just graduated with a Bachelors degree from Penn State. I was docked pay for conversations with her whenever she would come in or other employees about work subjects. She would also come in and scream at me regularly and yell across the entire office stating that I did not know what I was doing.... Again, I did not go to school for this. She stated that I lied in my interview when I told her clearly that I did not have an understanding of what she did in her business but I was willing to learn. I asked her multiple times if there were any resources I could use to learn what I was doing to successfully complete the tasks given to me(which switched multiple times a day) she said that there was no way to learn it "you just need to know it". I did not take a single lunch and was in front of a computer for 8+ hours a day attempting to learn WordPress, 20i, and divvy. There's so much more but I believe this covers about half of it. Owner expects you to know without any training.
