Kraus Marketing recently did a promotional video for our Diaper and Period Supply bank. The whole team - Marc, Analise, Dylan, Chris - was a pleasure to work with and made the process seamless. They were professional, efficient, thoughtful and patient. We are a small nonprofit on a tight budget, which they were very respectful of throughout the project. They put together a project plan for us that stayed within our budget and in the end produced a wonderful video that we were able to adapt and use for both our gala and on our website.

The Connecticut Audubon Society's project with Kraus Marketing lasted from November til late April. It was a 6-part Zoom lecture series with subscription and individual ticket sales. I have 20 years of non-profit communications experience, which means 20 years of seeing what works and what doesn't. Dana Pandorf and Marc Mustachio grasped right away what I needed to accomplish. Marc worked with me on a contract that fit my budget. Dana created and revised seven or eight Facebook posts, and for each she worked with me on figuring out how to target them. And as soon as each presentation was finished, she reported the results of each ad. Marc and Dana were highly professional and personable, and responded to my needs as a client quickly and satisfactorily.

The Holder Group worked with Kraus Marketing and Lizzy to switch around some of the elements of our website. The work was completed faster than originally estimated and we would definitely work with them again.

I have left two reviews in my entire life and this is my second. Do not let Kraus "marketing" handle your website or social media without getting a thorough scope of work needed or you will be out thousands, and thousands of dollars. There is a few notable things to know before signing on with Kraus: they take your money before they scope out the needed work for a project. We hired them for both our restaurants and our construction company in early July. We are halfway into November and there is nothing live on the one website and we had to literally beg to be put in touch with a web developer for the other one, who may we add ended up being the only one capable of getting things done at Kraus. What we do have is a thread of incompetent emails back and forth asking for access to files they're already added too, more emails saying we were non-responsive, when in fact, we provided them with the emails that handed forth all of the necessary work needed. Further, emails consistently asking for things they lost but were quickly found in our "sent" folder? You hear from the CEO on the kick off call- feeling secure with the company, and then you only hear from him again when you're beyond disgusted with their lack of ability to follow through with the project timeline. Social media? I'm not sure they're in the respective realm. They were uploading blurry photos, low pixel, awful quality. They used the exact same excuse for both companies "your website is hard coded so we need more money". What? This should've been discovered in the initial kick-off call. How do you charge people and then two-three months later {no work done at this point- not even a design} say you didn't know what you needed to do in order to complete a project? Another company, did a 12 page thorough analysis of the backend of our website and flat out said "I'm not sure what they meant when they said it was hard coded and the work couldn't be done because it certainly can". They gave us 12 pages of needed work and security and design elements without even giving a proposal. What sort of marketing / web development company doesn't do this in 2020? Close but not done, they then ask before we even saw a mock of a website, after paying our first installments, THEN, they say "We cannot complete the work, we've spent to many man hours on the project we need more money to do anything else"... but still nothing was done like literally we hadn't even seen one thing done? They said they needed to charge us to upgrade plugins? What in heavens name were you doing from July - October? Finally, when you get abrasive about the lack of professionalism, when you're at your whits end and send a hasty, upset email- the CEO comes forward and goes "You're embarrassing we do hundreds of projects a year". What, and our two companies don't? Are we less adequate because our project wasn't big enough for you? It was big enough to need more money? We paid you to do something, you should be ashamed that you have a customer THIS upset and ensuring the work will get done. You're not ashamed that your team is unable to do the things needed to be done? No disrespect to some of their team members, Kristen, Lizzy, Marc, all lovely- everyone was beyond nice until push came to shove. Bottom line, do your job, or don't take people's money if you cannot back up the work. A family friend's business who has been in business for 100 years direct quote in regards to their work "Terrible", and we must concur.
