Our favorite library to date! The staff is always kind and helpful, but thats not even the best part. They are KNOWLEDGABLE. They care. The children have so much to do, and the childrens room is always clean and organized. They rotate toys and have a range of puzzles, books, interactive toys, art. My girls love it there and I have no trouble finding good reads, good info and good conversation. THANK YOU for making a safe place for EVERYONE.

Great staff. Great library layout. Too cold in the library during winter. I love the onodaga free library with its cozy athmosphere. I thought I would find something similar at Liverpool Public library--I didn't. Although the library has a wondeful space for kids and great programs for kids and youth, during the winter this library does not provide a climate controlled environment. Once in November my daughter was reading a book in the lounge space for some time. After a while I checked on her as I (an adult) was cold so I was going to ask her if we should go.

When I approached her I noticed her nose and ears were red and when I touched her hands where cold. Even her laptop was cold to the touch. I immediately left the library not before asking if the heating system worked. The front desk staff confirmed it was on. Unfortunately, I left without saying much but with the understanding that perhaps the staff isnt even aware of how the lack of proper heating could be affecting library goers.

I was super lucky to visit the LPL today! It was thier grand re-opening and it is AMAZING!
It is now ultra modern, and has wonderful light! Plenty of cozy places to sit and relax!
The kids section is fantastic! There are even cozy seats built into the wall!
Lots of computers to work on, books, music and movies galore too! The staff is as warm, friendly and welcoming as the new atmosphere!
LPL is surely a magical and helpful place!

Our family loves our trips here. Their children's room is the best in the area, and their children's librarians are amazing. They have a good variety and frequency of events for kids, and they are fun for both kids and the parents who attend with them.

Beautiful library, the staff are very helpful. But the problem seems to be some people are not here to read this location has too many kids running through the library, people are gathered at tables talking way too loud you cannot relax here if you want to find a quiet space to read you have to book a quiet study room which is another problem the quiet study rooms are always booked full everyday. Please Liverpool please bring back quiet atmosphere back to the library.

I went on Saturday this past weekend. The computer areas are so bright I cannot see the computer screen. I had to abort and not use them. Perhaps you can have a dark area for those of us who are high light sensitive. Unfortunately that may create a demand for that area and make it impossible to get a computer, but I literally could not read the letters or sites due to the fluorescents.
