We went there on Sunday when they had the family day animal farm was on. Fun fill day for the whole family. Did not know they have family day every Sunday so it was lovely. There are plenty of space for pram and baby chair. The food size were huge! The kids burger is like adult burger size. The calamari and steak cooked to perfection. Full bar also for adults drinks.

We recently visited Melbourne Public and had a fantastic experience. We specifically went on a Friday to take advantage of the $2 oyster special, and it did not disappoint! The atmosphere was lively, with great music and plenty of big screens for sports fans. The staff were friendly and made sure we had everything we needed.

top-notch pub with a fantastic view of South Wharf. The space is inviting with cozy corners and stylish interiors. We enjoyed their delicious parma and fish & chips, both of which were excellent.

Their Happy Hour from 6 to 8 PM is a highlight, featuring $7 spirits and beers, and $10 cocktails. It’s perfect for a fun Friday night out. Great food, drinks, and atmosphere make Melbourne Public highly recommended!

I’m giving such a low review due to the size portions paid for sliders. When you pay $22 you expect these thing to at least twice the size, the ambience was great and plenty of drinks options which are also getting up their in price ( good enough for 1 or 2 drinks before your broke

Great venue for catching up with mates for a bit of a session. Food is good and honest. All the pub grub styles meals at good prices. Plenty of big TV screens showing different sports and a great range of tap beer.
Afternoons they regularly have acoustic style performers and the occasional band. Night time gets busy with DJs doing party mixes. Really enjoy this Bar. Staff are excellent.

Yum at good prices! There was a live performance as well, which was great.

My friend requested for our table to be wiped clean; the lady staff just gave him a piece of cloth for him to wipe it off himself. It was OK, maybe the staff was busy, but quite a funny experience. ?

Visited on a Friday for lunch. Disappointing service, staff don’t want to be there.
Took 40 minutes for lunch to arrive.
Very odd inconsistent serving sizes.
Our table ordered two chicken parmigianas, and one came out half the size of the other. I queried this with staff (as it looked like one was a kid’s size meal) and was told Chef said no error, both adult meals.
Paid full price when ordering online (via QR code on the table), no option to select advertised $20 lunch special. Wouldn’t return or recommend. Take your money elsewhere.
