I am surprised people don’t come here for BBQ on weekend nights. The parking has no time limit and it’s free while there are so many free BBQ stoves. Amazing beautiful night views you can see while having amazing food !!! Highly recommend any Melburnians or tourists or backpackers to come here for evening BBQ....

A great spot for a BBQ picnic on a warm sunny day. Beautiful views of the Yarra River with numerous trees along its banks, set against tall city buildings in the background. Close by you'll find public unisex toilets, several BBQs with free gas, ample parking, and plenty of decent grassed areas to picnic with friends and family. Bask in the sun while watching the world go by - joggers, walkers, bike riders, boats on the river, etc. What a beautiful city we live in.

The place offers a decent BBQ spot located next to Yarra river not far from CBD. BBQ facility is cleaned and heated properly. There are benches and tables next to the BBQ which I find very convenient. Bins are not too far yet too close for the smell to interrupt experiences.

Minus one star as it locates next to the bicycle lanes which can be very dangerous bbq-ers and riders if not careful enough.
