Publix Super Market at Biscayne Commons - North Miami Beach, Florida

Yesterday, we stopped by this Publix to try to pick up a King Cake, the delicious Mardi Gras King Cake from New Orleans. Not all Publix stores carry it, and you have to hunt it down once a year. We have only been successful one time in finding it in the last 6 years that we have tried. It was at another Publix store. We were in this area today and decided to try this store. No luck!

We have shopped at this Publix in the past and always were pleased with the way they ran the store, which to us meant they didn't run out of the products we needed. We couldn't give them 5 stars because Publix prices are always on the high side among grocery stores.

PRIMO WATER machine smells like mildew and mold. It needs to be cleaned and serviced. But the crazy part about it is that it was “out of service” for a week so they just finished servicing it and fixing it and it still looks like this and smelling like mildew and mold🤯

Nice clean isles .need to keeps the orchids in better conditions and flowers as well I like to get a fresh bouquet or an orchid any chance I get but today was a bummer otherwise great store

Divine day to everyone who reads this hopefully you don't go through the same unfortunate experience.

When calling produce I got hung up on 5 times.
To find out by a kind customer service representative that they don't have the product I was looking for.

I called between 5:00-5:12 pm

A woman possibly of hatian nationality.

English did not sound bad at all.

The whole produce section I suggest needs to assist if she doesn't speak English or atleast tell her to not hang up.

Sounded like she spoke English just fine none the less..

I suggest the whole produce section practices human consideration kindness & understanding.

Customers watch out: Yesterday bought 2.10 lbs Beef for Stew $14.68. The meat looks nice and red on the top of the package but when I opened it at home, the bottom, hidden part had almost a pound of fat and hard tendons that I had to throw away. This is a practice that Publix do on the meat to rob you. It is not the first time. I've been robbed from them before when buy meat. But this time they went over the limits. Please see the photos

Came to Publix today and so saw to see people ignore rules and regulations put in place by Publix regarding bringin pets to the supermarket. A customer came in side with her dog and employee saw it and allowed it. I understand people love for pets, I like pets too, but there is a place and time for everything. This is the place were we but food and pets are not humans, we must understand this. Is also sad to know that employees did not do anything about it, I told the employee to let the manager know about this I’m not sure if she did but Pets show never be allowed at supermarkets is not healthy at all and if Publix is putting these rules, they should apply it.

Really good Publix on Biscayne just around the corner from FIU North Campus. Always well stocked, very clean, helpful staff and they always have plenty of checkout lanes available.
