This is a very nice Publix. It’s consistent with what you’d expect from a Publix like great customer service and cleanliness, but I also am a big fan of the layout of the store here in particular. The subs here are great too!

For any cake ordering: Robin is an absolute treasure! We planned our wedding cake with her and she went above & beyond to ensure we left happy with our choice. She thought of logistics we didn't even realize were involved and was one step ahead! And most importantly we had fun in the process 🙂

I moved from Carrollwood to Palma Ceia and always had great service at the Carrollwood Village Publix, this Publix needs a big lesson on how to treat their customers. Most of employees barely say hi to you, never smile and everyone looks so sad to be working at Publix. One of the store manager's is the worst, Jan. Never says hello and always has an attitude at the customer service counter, like I am bothering her. The two other Publix locations near Britton Plaza, Himes and Gandy and 4315 W Gandy are so much better as far as customer service.

Just went in to buy some watermelon and change my mind real quick after I seen it was going to cost me 17.32 for 4 pounds of watermelon. That's crazy I could buy 4 whole watermelons for that. You all can Criticize walmart all you want But at least they don't take advantage of their customers and jack the prices up on everything.

I haven't been to the Brittan Plaza in years and years. I was there for a medical appointment, but needed to stop by the local Publix to pick up a couple of items before driving back home. I found that the Publix was bright, clean, and very well stocked.

I go to this Publix regularly. This morning I got followed out of this store by an employee by the name of Ashley who accused me of stealing. I paid for my $5 drink in front of her, waited for the machine to notify me that it got approved and left. She yelled at me in the parking lot saying I didn’t pay for it and had me come back inside when the machine said I still owed 70 cents. The machine didn’t notify me I owed that, it told me my transaction got approved. The way this woman handled the situation was downright embarrassing and offensive. I feel like I got profiled and it could have been handled with much more professionalism. I don’t feel comfortable shopping here anymore

I think this publix is very nice and have been coming here for a very long time! There are some things I wish were more refurbished but overall it's the one I go to the most! However when I was going to write this review I got curious and noticed a specific 1 star review. It said it was about a month old but I recognize this person because I was witness to the situation she's referring to. She in fact had not finished paying and those machines always notify you when that happens, speaking from experience, but she had sprinted out of there so I don't blame the worker for assuming that that woman had tried to steal whatever she had been trying to purchase! Don't blame this on profiling either when the worker even told you to have a good day and you said nothing back as you sprinted out the door! This was entirely on you! Pay attention next time!

Will not be returning! Felt I was RACIALLY PROFILED . Was stopped at self check out …. He dug through my bags without asking claiming he didn’t see the item on there it was FOR INSTACART FOR ITEM B ! he checked nobody else bags I DONT APPRECIATE BEING EMBARRASSED!
