Benjamin at the Deli counter is a credit to the Publix organization, his dedication to customer service goes beyond all expectations. He notice I was look for chicken and ask “how can I help you” I needed 6 rotisserie chickens, I ask if they could be cut and he did not hesitate to ask how. He made hectic morning much smoother. Benjamin at the Publix colonialtown market is an amazing individual.

I love Publix. I do not cycle enough change as I typically pay with a card nowadays, like everyone else and rarely carry around cash. This is my neighborhood store and the only store that has ever denied me 4 times a roll of quarters in exchange for cash. I have gone to other stores with no issues ever. I waited in the front for ten minutes while another customer went round and round with the clerk with his lottery tickets until what i thought was a manager that come out of the office. Tom, who i presume to be the manager came out and helped the gentlemen in line before me. Tom then told he couldn’t help me with change. Now, i have to change stores and pharmacists because this Publix is too busy for its neighborhood. Thanks Tom. It was 845pm an hour and 15 minutes prior to

they had a 40 minute window and when I got there, they were just making my subs. I could see if it was busy but it wasn't busy. I was OK with no problem. They ran out of white bread so instead of calling the number on the online that was provided, they decided to put it on the bread. I did not eat so when I got there, I had to wait for them to remake it.

I was right there, so why not ask me before you make it wrong?

Do not shop wic here. This location will refuse to refund you. Got a bowl of bad watermelon came to get a refund and was denied being told I could get another bowl. I think all the Publix around are just cutting up old fruit that's not able to sell. First place I've had a problem getting refunded for bad fruit but this one Winter Park, Aloma Ave, and University all consistently have issues of selling bad fruit. It's just always a 50 50 especially with the watermelon.
Update got a call from the supervisor at 9am this morning. Condescending as hell. Says the Watermelon looks good to him. Asking for me to come pick one out with him today. I think everyone already knows they change out fruit bowls daily. Why would I want to come all the way there just to educate some random condescending man about fruit. Ways to make it worse successful. Won't be back to this Publix.

It's a small Publix with pretty tight spaces inside, compared to other Publix locations in the area. But I guess that's what people who live in downtown are used to. It's also a little bit ghetto - homeless people hanging around the outside, a lady even sitting in the lobby sleeping in an electric scooter. I usually see a police car guarding the store whenever I drive by. But then again, you also have fancy, wealthy people shopping there.

This is for the deli staff, not the customer service staff. I ordered a sub online at 6:30pm for pick up at 7:00pm. I paid for my sub online. I get there at 6:55pm and the lady says they’re still working on it but I see that she has not started working on it at all and actually starts once I get there. So I’m waiting and waiting, the lady keeps disappearing and coming back. Now it’s 7:15pm and another lady comes out because the other lady disappeared. Now the lady says they’re out of the meat I ordered. So I stood there waiting for 20 minutes just to be told they don’t have the meat. I mean, what was I standing there for? They could have let me know right away. I wasted my time to not even get my sub so I asked the lady why I waited so long and she said “sorry there’s nothing I can do” with an attitude. So I went to customer service and they were kind and gave me a refund but the deli staff is terrible. Now I have to wait several days to even receive my refund for the order I never was able to receive

The young lady by the name of Cherie that works up front and one of the assistant managers by the name of Jeff are the worst individual at this particular location. She has no professionalism about herself the way she talks to customers and the way she is very abrupt and rude to guests and he has no customer service about himself not sure how he made it to the position that he's in as well but I guess the blind can't lead the blind because they both do the same thing. She should not be at the customer service when you cannot render customer service. I just observed how nasty she was to a guest that was asking for a copy of the receipt and I told him sir feel free to call Lakeland at the corporate office if you can get what you need here. Her comment was you don't know what he needs I said based on the little bit of information that I just heard he can get it from the corporate office because the way you're treating him he's not going to get what he's asking for

I was a little disappointed on Sunday. Went to look at avocado's but they literally smelt like fish . Other wards we love this Publix .
