Christmas Eve, one of the busiest days as an employee here I’m sure of it. I accidentally left my keys at the register, yet for the life of me couldn’t remember that. Without hesitation this very nice gentleman (he was a manager/ team lead) went above and beyond- looked for a needle in a haystack and helped me make sure I was going to find my truck key.
I really wish could remember his name- but his customer service was impeccable. Beyond grateful for his service.
Thank you for making my Christmas holiday shopping experience a pleasure!

The BEST food store chain ever. The employees are always helpful, warm, and efficient. The store itself is always stocked neatly and so incredibly clean. Managers and supervisors are very friendly and always willing to help. The BOGO deals are fantastic, the app is simple to use. By far the best prices for quality fresh groceries is very hard to find these days. At least there's one store that I know I can consistently count on .

Store is always clean and food is always fresh. Only 1 complaint. The express lane is for items or less. Often someone Will check out with well over 10 items. The cashier should say something to that customer

My name is Yves. I am diabetic with stage 4 kidney disease, and I recently had a pacemaker implanted. On Saturday, December 21st, my son was at a Publix location, 3015 SW Pines Rd, Cape Coral, FL 33991, sending money for his aunt in Haiti and my daughter as a Christmas gift—something I do every year. I have been a loyal Publix customer since 1978 and have used Western Union to send money for about 30 years.

At the store, my son handed an existing receipt from a previous transfer to his aunt to a cashier named Mr. Triston. Mr. Triston processed the transfer and asked my son to verify the transaction details. My son noticed that his address wasn’t updated on the account and mentioned it. Mr. Triston then asked for an ID, which my son provided.

Next, my son attempted to send a second transfer for my daughter. He gave Mr. Triston my phone number and my daughter’s name. Mr. Triston called another associate for advice. The associate approached my son in a rude manner and said, “We need to ask you a security question. Is the phone you’re using yours or your dad’s?”

My son explained that it was my phone and that he has been sending money through Western Union using my phone and name for years without ever being asked this question at any other Publix Stores. He asked if this was a new policy. The associate rudely replied, “Yes, it’s a security question,” and walked away without further explanation.

Then, Brooke, the Customer Service Manager, came over and told my son, “I got you.” My son responded that if there was an issue, he would return later with me on his way back from church to complete the transaction at the Publix in Punta Gorda. Brooke assured him there was no need and asked for his ID. My son provided both his ID and an image of my ID from his phone.

Brooke handed my son his ID back and asked him to verify the transaction details. My son explained that he wanted the money transfer for my daughter to be in my name because it would make both me and my daughter happy. At that point, Brooke stopped and asked, “Was that your name or your dad’s on the receipt?” My son clarified that it was his name, noting that our names are very similar with only one letter different.

Brooke then refused to process the transfer, stating that my son couldn’t send money to an account that wasn’t in his name. My son explained that he had been sending money on my behalf for years and had never been treated this way before.

What upset me most about this situation is that it took two associates and two managers to interrogate my son as though he was a criminal. They wasted his time and provided an unacceptably poor customer experience. Frustrated, my son decided not to proceed with the transaction. Instead, he asked the manager for her name and left the store. As a General Manager himself, he was shocked and disappointed by the way he was treated.
