Plant City Publix is hands down the best! I have to give a huge shoutout to Jen in the deli. On a crazy Saturday, with multiple football games happening and the holiday rush in full swing, I called in a panic needing food for about 50 warehouse team members. I knew about the 24-hour rule for orders but decided to ask for the manager and explain my situation.

Jen went above and beyond! She worked within my budget, wasn’t picky about specifics, and made it happen. She brought out fresh trays, wings, sauces, condiments, and even vegetables. My team absolutely devoured everything! Jen’s friendliness, amazing smile, and sharp Vineyard Vines shirt made the experience even better.

Publix always delivers, and this time was no exception. They’ve never dropped the ball on me or my team. Huge thanks to Jen and the whole team—Publix for the win!

Absolutely adore the plant city store. For the most part, everything is very clean and plenty of electric carts. Somethings can be a little pricey, but is definitely offset by the wonderful Bogo’s the fact that they have free fruit for the kids and cookies shows they care about their customers.

But, this is an extremely busy location, every time I've been, parking is limited..

I ordered 48 pull-apart cupcakes for pickup over the phone yesterday and I asked if they could make them in the shape of a Christmas tree and decorate it like a tree. This bakery did a PHENOMENAL AMAZING Job of executing EXACTLY that & they were ready for pickup at 7:30am right before school. Thank you so much all of the teachers & staff were in awe of how beautiful the cupcakes were. Merry Christmas & Happy New Year 🎄❤️ WE LOVE PUBLIX!

Both Publix stores in Plant City are great. The service and staff are the best. I used to be in them all the time for my shopping needs so why did I only give it 4 stars? ... All the new people who have overcrowded this once lovely small town have swamped them both. The parking lot is a freaking nightmare now and I can't be bothered with it anymore. I still shop there on occasion if I get up early enough but I spread my shopping around depending on where I am. I'm considering the one on county line as my go to if the mobs haven't ruined it yet.

Huge shout out for Lauren in the pharmacy! She went above and beyond to help me get a reduced price on my medication. She was patient and helpful and just overall amazing. I saved several hundred dollars by signing up for a coupon she knew about. I have been waited on by her several times and every time she is friendly and happy to help! Bravo Lauren!!! The world needs more people like you!!!!

I like this Publix however their staff may need more training when it comes to preparing meatless or vegan food. I found the employee getting frustrated when I asked them to change utensils and gloves or to not prep my food on a dirty cutting board that had breading from chicken on it. I am never rude about this and I kept apologizing for what I felt was an inconvenience to the staff member. There should be a separate station when doing so. I don’t want my food sitting on a board that you have cut meat products on. There should be separate utensils and vegetables to select from. Safe food handling should be taken serious.

Generally it was clean and everyone was helpful, the deli was slightly lacking. We put an order in online and unfortunately no one handled it prior to us arriving and then had only some of the items we requested. In the end we still got something to eat and moved on
