I happened to be in the area doing some Christmas shopping & I decided to do my shopping here for “old time’s sake” after having worked in what used to be called the “back office” at this location over 25 years ago. Of course it’s been renovated since then! The store is well maintained, but, I like to go to places for how I’m treated by the staff, not necessarily how “great” the location looks. I was very impressed with the help that I received while at the seafood counter, and, at the deli & bakery counters as well. They were fully stocked with everything that I needed (and then some). Any associate on the floor was more than happy to assist me, some even taking me right to the items I was looking for. Most impressive about the store was the wine section-easily found what I was looking for and they’re not lacking in their assortment of wines with ones for every palette & budget. Wish I was still working in this location-it would have been great to see the changes happening over the years!

It’s a shame that this beautiful brand new store has a deli dept that is so disorganized and inefficient. Came in today at 1pm and while there was plenty of staff, they were more preoccupied with filling online orders that had piled up (20-30 tickets) while completely ignoring the customers that were already IN THE STORE standing around for service. After getting the manager’s (male with beard hair net) attention, who was more interested in the popcorn machine, I and other customers stood around endlessly until I finally left with no cold cuts. A total waste of time. Meanwhile the slicer machines were covered in pieces of shredded cheese— total open air contamination (see photos). I will be forwarding this to Lakeland as it is imperative that they see the bad condition of this deli department and hopefully get better management in place early on.

I stopped in at this store for a favor to accompany a friend receiving their Covid-19 vaccine. Also stopped by the deli to get a sandwich for dinner.

The atmosphere at this store was very different than other Publix stores I have visited in the past. It wasn't a bad experience although the staff could have been friendlier. The store itself was clean everything was where it should be...now if only when they make me a sandwich when I ask for a little oil and I actually get it instead of a oily sponge of a sandwich that would be good.

I shop for bogo offers. The prices keep going up with no end in sight. Every week it's a few cents more on each item but you've got to eat so I try to shop wisely.
