I LOVE Publix grocery store. It's a little more expensive but the quality is a little higher than most grocers. Plenty of parking as well as wheelchair accessible. It's a great place to grab lunch at the Deli. Fried chicken, soup and made to order sandwiches available much like a Subway but higher end Boar's Head meats are used with many choices of sandwich toppings on homemade bread. Great produce section, meat and fresh seafood also available. Staff is also very helpful and friendly!

Went here today, Tuesday, September 17th ,24. The store is disorganized, and the staff were kind of cold and not super helpful when we asked a question at checkout. Went for a specific item which was on sale Brisk Lemon Iced Tea they didn't have it . We got a few things on the other list. The many things were the Brisk Lemom Iced Tea.

We enjoy sushi and Publix sushi has been good and easy to grab, but they make like 6 rolls throughout the ENTIRE day that doesn’t have sauce on it. I mean come on, not everyone enjoys sauce and they could put sauce packets on the side. We have spoken to the people who make the sushi multiple times but it doesn’t seem to matter. They just recently changed vendors and it seems to have gotten worse. Just make more sushi without sauce on it…

Insanely busy on Sunday. We pre-ordered subs for pick-up. Two were early and the other was late which was strange since they were submitted on the same ticket, yet all were made perfectly with large portions of toppings which we appreciated. The drink cooler behind customer service could have a better variety. There were three shelf tags for Bai tea but only one flavor in all three lanes.

I really do like this store, purchased my wedding cake from here…I feed my family, and shop at this specific almost everyday. This sounds sooo stupid for me to care about….but here we go!

What absolutely disgusted me about this store is the buttons on the card readers at checkout…. Every single card reader is absolutely filthy, and the numbers are completely eaten away from years of locals hitting “727” (most likely pre Covid)….. It just absolutely disgusted me that in a grocery store where I purchased my food the very last point of check out the very last moment I’m gonna be in that store…..The last moment this store has to sell me on why I should spend my money here….. I leave with disgust from having to physically touch the card readers/check out counters…..

So I downloaded the app to bypass having to touch any of that…. The app is a joke, And there is no guidance from anyone at the store on how to use the app…. I feel extremely rushed when I don’t know how to use the app at checkout to enter my Customer account info or to pay through the app….. (I’m 32 years old, I can only imagine someone 60 and up) When I feel rushed I very quickly pull my wallet out and again have to press the buttons manually on those disgusting card reader…. Doesn’t matter what checkout line you go to they are all way past the time of needing to be replaced…Like such a petty thing to be angry about…but also such a simple piece to replace to keep the integrity of your store in check….

I treat the grocery store like any other food service, And to be honest with you the Home Depot right down the road has a cleaner check out area/card readers than this Publix does… There is always plenty of management on the floor when I shop here, they always make sure the employees are doing the task handed to them…WAKEUP CALL! This stores management needs to care more about the customers experience in every way possible…I would say as a business owner myself the point of sales area is quite possibly the most important area to keep in check…again…”the last opportunity they have to sell me on why I should keep shopping here”. Even a simple wipe down of the card readers between rushes would be nice…I see employees wipe down the belts for spills, or random stuff left behind…. I want to see the stuff we as customers physically touch be cleaned more often, and replaced when they aren’t to a standard that Mr.Jenkins would have held them to… I know I’m not the only one that feels this way, get those buttons replaced ASAP!!!!!!

Extremely thankful we have some good grocery store options close by like Fresh Market and Sprouts because Publix has gone down hill big time over the past few years. Sincerely a past costumer who only shopped at Publix at one point and now one that only comes in for bogo’s and spring water

Go up
