I had the absolute best experience with Hector, who was working in the deli. He was so kind and patient he gave me suggestions of meats that were delicious. He gave me samples and I bought everything that he shared with me never bought $25 with the deli meat but he sold me he was super kind and he needs to work here all the time.

I want to take a moment to recognize Ethan—he is truly amazing and the only reason I’ve continued to place pickup orders at this location. He’s consistently gone above and beyond, and is by far the best shopper I’ve ever encountered.

However, today around 11:49 AM, I was stopped by security on my way out, and the experience left me feeling extremely uncomfortable. The guard checked my bag and insinuated that I was stealing simply because it was large. I had a yellow bag and my dog with me at the time.

This experience was anxiety-provoking and left me feeling singled out. Although this store has been convenient for me, and Ethan’s service has been a highlight, I will no longer be returning because of how I was treated. It’s incredibly disappointing to have to shop elsewhere—especially when someone like Ethan is doing such an exceptional job.

I hope this feedback is taken seriously so others don’t have to go through something similar.

Longest lines I've ever seen in a grocery store. Theres about 4 people behind me too. Might have something to do with them only having 2 people on registers. The line at the other register is even longer!

I like that it opens early. But they have a weird restroom, it has 2 doors and when I asked for the code to the restroom they only gave me the code to the 2nd door not the first. 3 different employees gave me a code for the first door but that didn't work. I had to urinate so bad I just went into an alley. Hopefully they can provide guests with a way to use the restroom or unlock the first door so that it's not so difficult to get through. I don't blame staff because maybe they honestly didn't know the code had been changed. But this doesn't change the fact that when a guest needs to use the restroom you allow them. Especially a paying customer that is what restrooms are for.

I’ve been coming here to do shops for the events I work nearby for years and this was my first negative experience with the staff.
While checking out the cashier made me bag my own groceries because he was too focused on joking with his coworkers about football and the Raiders.
When I made a comment about how I’m not used to bagging my own groceries at Ralph’s he shrugged it off and said “that’s how it is now”
You’d think with the prices they’re charging they’d have better customer service but I guess not.

Nicholas advised me that service dogs are only for the blind or death. When I informed him of my need. He denied me my ADA right. He said he didn’t believe me. I have lived downtown for 8 years and always go to this Ralph’s with no issues. I will be escalating this. SA are not for just the death and blind

I love that Ralph’s focuses closely on food waste. The individual bags of various produce are a treat for one dollar. LA County does as great job in trying to combat food waste.

Found Krispy Kream donuts here which was a pleasant surprise because we no longer have them on the East Coast. This was a great little grocery store. They also sell alcohol which definitely was an added bonus. They were also very nice and gave great customer service.
