I interviewed for one of the positions the company offered on Monday, 3/31 with Nathan and Hakeem(the supposedly owner) and I felt it was a great interview, especially with Nathan. We had some things in common and it was an overall great experience speaking with him. He was able to explain the company, compensation, and what ever questions I had, Nathan jotted them down, and made sure he gave them to Hakeem to discuss with me.
I received a phone call from Hakeem that same day and he explained the compensation process, even though I still had some reservations about how it he tried to explain it. (Maybe I was overthinking it).
Hakeem seemed to be a bit put off by my direct response and questions to specific questions I asked.
I think after the phone call he made his decision not to hire me, and it shows because I received a text from Nathan telling me he enjoyed talking to me, and
"whatever the company decides, I wish you the best."
It is now 4/3 and have made several phone calls and texts to Richmond Marketing without the decent and professionalism from Hakeem or anyone from Richmond Marketing. How do you run a business without professional communication, etiquette, or courtesy to let potential candidates know if they have the job or not? To me, if they can drop the ball on this, there's no telling what else they may drop the ball on.
May I suggest they do better in communication, professional courtesy and etiquette if you're going to continue to run a business.
